This paper proposes a cheap solution to be a starting point for building smart electrical power billing systems. Electrical power has many challenges issues in Iraq, one of these challenges and the most important is the Billing system. The smart power meter uses an Arduino Uno as the core for controlling the sensed data and transmits it to the electrical power unit for billing services. The system is constructed with two parts: the transmitting unit measures the current, voltage, power and power factor through the compact new sensor PZEM-004T. The data sensed and processed by the microcontroller which displayed the KWh on (2*16 LCD) display. This data also transmitted to the electrical power company unit via the global system for mobile communications (GSM) module (SIM900A) which is a dual band GSM/GPRS-general packet radio service modem. The receiving part is mainly dedicated for collecting the required consumed power data via the same (SIM900A) module and also can display it using (2*16 LCD) display. For the sake of saving these data, the receiver part uses SD ram for such purposes. With such proposed system the electrical power company can control and collect their fees monthly without loss and with minimum cost.

This paper presents a grid-tie rotating solar rooftop system solar power project which is powered by using Atmega 328 microcontroller. It includes solar panel, LCD display, and battery charging circuit and an inverter circuit with sun tracking capability. This project represents whether a particular industrial or residential load would be powered by the photovoltaic panel or the company. This project is based on Atmega 328 micro-controller which controls the solar array by rotating it consistently with the position of sun. This energy obtained from the solar array is then stored in battery which is then sent back to power the domestic or industrial area. The remaining energy is then reverted to the power house through the gird-tie system. Hence with the assistance of this project, power usage can be reduced by the renewable source of energy and profit can be earned with the help of the power which is fed back to the grid.

With the rapid development of display technology, the colour mismatch of the colours having same tristimulus values between devices is an urgent problem to be solved. This is related to the wellknown problem of observer metamerism, caused by the spectral power distribution (SPD) of primaries and the difference between individual observers' and the standard CIE colour matching functions. An experiment was carried out for 20 observers to perform colour matching of colour stimuli with a field-of-view of 4° between 5 displays, including two LCD and two OLED, against a reference LCD display. The results were used to derive a matrixbased colour correction method. The method was derived from colorimetric visually matched colorimetric data. Furthermore, different colour matching functions were evaluated to predict the degree of observer metamerism. The results showed that the correction method gave satisfactory results. Finally, it was found that the use of 2006 2° colour matching function outperformed 1931 2° CMFs with a large margin, most marked between an OLED and an LCD display.

Nowadays it is very necessary to handle hydrogen correctly to avoid accidents. Due to its high flammability in exposure and operation in industrial environments, it is possible that a gas leak or a fault may occur for correct operation of an equipment. In this paper, a detection system of a commercial hydrogen sensor was developed, using microcontroller, sensor, LCD display and a microSD card module. The communication of the sensor with the microcontroller was carried out, followed by the communication between the sensor and the microSD module with the saved data, where serially it was possible to obtain measurements in real time on an LCD display. Finally, the tests on the system validated the used methodology.

Cleanroom parameters such as temperature, relative humidity and particle count are vital in maintaining cleanliness. People and machines working inside the cleanroom are main contributors for the sudden changes of the separameters. Measurements and monitoring of these parameters are therefore necessary to reduce rejects and downtime in the production of micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS). This paper presents a method of developmentof an automated data monitoring of MEMS cleanroom parametric requirements. The prototype developed uses DHT11 sensor and Sharp dust sensor for measuring the temperature, humidity and particle count respectively which are displayed in an LCD display. These parameters are recorded through a data logger for analysis and control. Additionally, agraphical user interface was also developed using visual studio for the working personnel and for supervisory monitoring and control. As a result, the possible quality compromise in the production of MEMS is detected when the monitored parameters are beyond the range.
