A standard draft genome sequence of the white rot saprotrophic fungus Trametes hirsuta 072 ( Basidiomycota , Polyporales ) is presented. The genome sequence contains about 33.6 Mb assembled in 141 scaffolds with a G+C content of ~57.6%. The draft genome annotation predicts 14,598 putative protein-coding open reading frames (ORFs).

Marinobacter sp. strain X15-166B T was cultivated from sediment in Honolulu Harbor, Hawai‘i. The X15-166B T draft genome of 3,490,661 bp encodes 3,115 protein-coding open reading frames. We anticipate that the genome will provide insights into the strain’s lifestyle and the evolution of Marinobacter .

ABSTRACT The draft genome sequence of Saccharomonospora sp. strain LRS4.154, a moderately halophilic actinobacterium, has been determined. The genome has 4,860,108 bp, a G+C content of 71.0%, and 4,525 open reading frames (ORFs). The clusters of PKS and NRPS genes, responsible for the biosynthesis of a large number of biomolecules, were identified in the genome.

ABSTRACT Chitinophaga comprises microorganisms capable of degrading plant-derived carbohydrates, serving as a source of new tools for the characterization and degradation of plant biomass. Here, we report the draft genome assembly of a Chitinophaga strain with 8.2 Mbp and 7,173 open reading frames (ORFs), isolated from a bacterial consortium that is able to degrade lignocellulose.

ABSTRACT The genus Bradyrhizobium comprises bacteria with the ability to form nitrogen-fixing symbioses with legumes. They are of great interest in agriculture, as well as for the production of biopolymers such as polyhydroxyalkanoates. Here, we report the draft genome assembly of Bradyrhizobium elkanii TnphoA 33 comprising 9 Mb, 1,124 contigs, and 9,418 open reading frames.

Debaryomyces hansenii J6 is a heavy-metal-tolerant, flavinogenic yeast isolated from a Swedish estuary. We present here the 11.63-Mb genome of this organism containing 5,717 open reading frames. Comparison with available Debaryomyces genomes demonstrated that J6 is closer to D. hansenii MTCC234 than D. fabry CBS789 and D. hansenii CBS767.
