Sarcoidosis is a multisystem inflammatory disorder of uncertain aetiology. There are numerous case reports of sarcoidosis occurring during treatment with biological immunotherapies. Here, we describe the case of a 52-year-old woman with psoriatic arthritis who developed multisystem sarcoidosis while being treated with secukinumab (anti-interleukin-17A) therapy which, to our knowledge, is the first such case. We discuss existing literature and hypothesise that IL-17 blockade may precipitate the development of granulomatous disease.

Morbihan syndrome is a rare entity causing woody induration of the face. There are numerous case reports of bilateral Morbihan syndrome. We present a case of a 46-year-old man with right infra-orbital cheek swelling and symptoms of rosacea who had histology consistent with granulomatous rosacea following debulking surgery. His clinical presentation and investigation findings support a diagnosis of rosacea causing unilateral Morbihan syndrome.

Goldenhar syndrome, also known as oculo-auriculo-vertebral syndrome, has been described since 1952. Traditionally, the syndrome has been described as having eye, ear, facial and vertebral anomalies. However, numerous case reports and reviews have highlighted multi-organ involvement, including cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, respiratory system and urinary abnormalities. We describe a 13 years old who has a reproductive tract abnormality, which has not been reported previously as a finding of Goldenhar syndrome.

Numerous case reports of adverse events of acupuncture have been published, mostly in journals which are not related to acupuncture. The authors usually have no training in acupuncture. In principle, case reports on adverse events are of value as an aid for learning. They can only achieve this effect if useful information is provided. In the case of acupuncture related adverse events and complications, basic information about the patient and the therapist as well as the treated acupuncture points and topographical regions and the needling technique are desirable. This article offers suggestions on what details should be included in a case report on adverse events related to acupuncture.

Psoriasis is one of the most common childhood skin disorders, the second after atopic dermatitis. Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA) is a chronic inflammatory disorder of the joints, spine and enthesis, usually associated with psoriasis. In children, PsA belongs to the group of juvenile idiopathic arthritis (according to the classification of the International League of Associations for Rheumatology, ILAR). The paper reviews the current scientific literature data on PsA peculiarities in childhood, the highest incidence in children, distribution by gender, as well as the predominant forms of joint syndrome. Results: Juvenile PsA is characterized by the pronounced clinical heterogeneity. The disease is twice as common in the girls. Two peaks of incidence are distinguished among 6-7 years and 14-18 years. Skin events precede the development of arthritis in 30% of children. The predominant form of the disease in children is asymmetric oligoarthritis.
