The absence of exotics and the natural parity exchange dominance in the t-channel, in high energy meson photoproduction of nucleons impose, via duality, restrictions on the baryonic resonance photocouplings. In a broken SU(6)w parametrization these constraints allow different couplings for the [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] baryonic resonances and impose relations between the transitions to the 70 and 56SU(6)W representations. It is shown that the low energy baryonic resonance photocouplings are in good agreement with these high energy constraints.

The data for near-threshold cross section for the reaction pp → ppɸ published by the DISTO and ANKE Collaboration are analyzed in order to evaluate the OZI ratio at low energies by taking into account corrections from the kinematics and the final-state interaction. Combining these new data with the few measurements available at higher energies the limit for the OZI rule violation is evaluated and the possible contribution from a five-quark baryonic resonance coupled to the ɸp system is estimated.

In this work we have obtained the equation of state to the highly asymmetric dense stellar matter, using the nonlinear Walecka model in the mean field approximation. We discussed the implication of changes in coupling constant of the delta baryonic resonance on the observable of the neutron star. A detailed analysis of the equation of state and of the baryonic effective mass in respect to changes in the delta coupling constants is carried out. We focus attention on a new aspect observed for pressure when varying the baryonic density of the medium; a first order phase transition like a liquid-gas phase transition was observed for an acceptable range of delta coupled constant values. We have explored the implication of this aspect for the neutron star structure and their maximum masses.
