AbstractLie symmetry analysis is achieved on a new system of coupled KdV equations with fractional order, which arise in the analysis of several problems in theoretical physics and numerous scientific phenomena. We determine the reduced fractional ODE system corresponding to the governing factional PDE system. In addition, we develop the conservation laws for the system of fractional order coupled KdV equations.

In this paper, the problem of constructing the Lie point symmetries group of the nonlinear partial differential equation appeared in mathematical physics known as the generalized KdV-Like equation is discussed. By using the Lie symmetry method for the generalized KdV-Like equation, the point symmetry operators are constructed and are used to reduce the equation to another fractional ordinary differential equation based on Erdélyi-Kober differential operator. The symmetries of this equation are also used to construct the conservation Laws by applying the new conservation theorem introduced by Ibragimov. Furthermore, another type of solutions is given by means of power series method and the convergence of the solutions is provided; also, some graphics of solutions are plotted in 3D.

Employing the classical Lie method, we obtain the symmetries of the ZK-BBM equation. Applying the given Lie symmetry, we obtain the similarity reduction, group invariant solution, and new exact solutions. We also obtain the conservation laws of ZK-BBM equation of the corresponding Lie symmetry.

New soliton solutions of fractional Jaulent-Miodek (JM) system are presented via symmetry analysis and fractional logistic function methods. Fractional Lie symmetry analysis is unified with symmetry analysis method. Conservation laws of the system are used to obtain new conserved vectors. Numerical simulations of the JM equations and efficiency of the methods are presented. These solutions might be imperative and significant for the explanation of some practical physical phenomena. The results show that present methods are powerful, competitive, reliable, and easy to implement for the nonlinear fractional differential equations.
