With the rapid development of economy, the supplier network is becoming more and more complicated. It is important to choose the right suppliers for improving the efficiency of the supply chain, so how to choose the right ones is one of the important research directions of supply chain management. This paper studies the partner selection problem from the perspective of supplier network global optimization. Firstly, this paper discusses and forms the evaluation system to estimate the supplier from the two indicators of risk and greenness and then applies the value as the weight of the network between two nodes to build a weighted-directed supplier network; secondly, the study establishes the optimal combination model of supplier selection based on the global network perspective and solves the model by the dynamic programming-tabu search algorithm and the improved ant colony algorithm, respectively; finally, different scale simulation examples are given to testify the efficiency of the two algorithms. The results show that the ant colony algorithm is superior to the tabu search one as a whole, but the latter is slightly better than the former when network scale is small.

Currently, topics of operations management and supply chain systems have been gaining more interest of researchers. Efficiency in supply chain activities and operations management firstly benefit organisations. One of the main operations in supply chain systems is the collaboration with selected suppliers. Various models have been proposed in terms of supplier evaluation and selection studies. The invention of a new integrated frame for the building of an effective supplier evaluation system is a multi-attribute task that consists of several factors as external and internal variables. This paper delivers a creative integrated model of supplier selection problem using SWARA, QFD and a new MCDM tool called WASPAS. This work considers customer attitudes in the process of supplier evaluation. To give more weight to customer requirements, a new SWARA method has been designed; additionally, QFD and the house of quality matrix have been used to transform customer requirements into the supplier evaluation index. Finally, WASPAS has been used to rate the performance of suppliers and present supplier ranking scores. Application of initiative ways to propose a systematic supplier selection problem has always been encouraged by supply chain managers. This topic has been addressed in this paper as well.

From the actual operation of the lock, respectively, with the objections to maximize utilization of the average chamber area and minimize average opening time and the product of the weight of the ship and minimize lock operating costs, it can make the use of AHP calculate the right target weight, so as to establish a multi-objective function model. Based on the constraints of each objection, it can be used improved ant colony algorithm for multi-site on the same river ship Joint operation, using MATLAB software for solving scheduling simulation, the results shows that the utilization and lock navigable levels have significantly improved . It proved this method can be used to optimize multi-site joint scheduling.

Purpose Globalization of markets and pace of technological change have caused the growing importance of paying attention to supplier selection problem. Therefore, this study aims to choose the best suppliers by providing a mathematical model for the supplier selection problem considering the green factors and stochastic parameters. This paper aims to propose a multi-objective model to identify optimal suppliers for a green supply chain network under uncertainty. Design/methodology/approach The objective of this model is to select suppliers considering total cost, total quality parts and total greenhouse gas emissions. Also, uncertainty is tackled by stochastic programming, and the multi-objective model is solved as a single-objective model by the LP-metric method. Findings Twelve numerical examples are provided, and a sensitivity analysis is conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the developed mathematical model. Results indicate that with increasing market numbers and final product numbers, the total objective function value and run time increase. In case that decision-makers are willing to deal with uncertainty with higher reliability, they should consider whole environmental conditions as input parameters. Therefore, when the number of scenarios increases, the total objective function value increases. Besides, the trade-off between cost function and other objective functions is studied. Also, the benefit of the stochastic programming approach is proved. To show the applicability of the proposed model, different modes are defined and compared with the proposed model, and the results demonstrate that the increasing use of recyclable parts and application of the recycling strategy yield more economic savings and less costs. Originality/value This paper aims to present a more comprehensive model based on real-world conditions for the supplier selection problem in green supply chain under uncertainty. In addition to economic issue, environmental issue is considered from different aspects such as selecting the environment-friendly suppliers, purchasing from them and taking the probability of defective finished products and goods from suppliers into account.

Abstract In this study, implemented artificial nueral network (Ann) in apparel manufacturing organizations to optimize the supply chain converging on right supplier selection by analyzing their performance criteria. Moreover, data collected from three diffrents factory to analyze the efficiney and profit -loss status of that units. Furthermore, analyze the supplier selection criteria of three suppliers in order to select the right supplier at the real time in apparel manufacturing industry . This study shows that it can be saved 20 % of the total cost.

According to requirement of cooperative manufacturing partner selection based on networked manufacturing environment, the paper resolves cooperative manufacturing partner selection problem by ant colony algorithm and grey relation theory: Firstly, manufacturing task is divided into series of working procedure in time order by technologic planning. Secondly, considerable candidate enterprises are selected in terms of multi-hierarchy grey relation coefficient at each working procedure node to reduce the size of problem. Lastly, cooperative enterprise selecting path is decided by making use of ant colony algorithm in light of transportation cost.

In the logistics service supply chain based on Multi-Agent system, it is a combinatorial optimization problem possessing highly complexity and dynamic uncertainty to allocate the resources of various logistics companies. Therefore, in this paper, ant colony algorithm is introduced to the Multi-Agent System, and we establish a resource allocation model based on ant colony algorithm for logistics service supply chain in view of Multi-Agent. In the model, ants are replaced by agents. At the end, the paper realizes the optimization of logistics services supply chain.

In the dynamic production environment of supply chain, based on information sharing among enterprises of supply chain, this paper designs an expert system aided multi-agent intelligent ant colony algorithm system to solve the production scheduling optimization model. Where ant colony is constructed with multi-agent and the order decomposition structure and constraint are expressed by expert system. And then it builds a system using JESS and JADE to confirm this algorithm applied in a mass customization supply chain scheduling model
