In this paper, we focus on the hesitant fuzzy decision-making method based on correlation coefficient under confidence levels. Firstly, we propose several correlation coefficients based on confidence levels, and based on the correlation coefficient between attribute-evaluated values and the ideal values, several optimal attribute weights models are constructed. Secondly, we have defined the concepts of module, weight module, projection, and weighted projection in hesitant fuzzy sets on account of the projection theory. Finally, on the strength of our research results above, we construct a hesitant fuzzy multiattribute decision-making method and apply it to the multiattribute decision-making problem in multisensor electronic reconnaissance. Comparative analyses are made via simulation to test the rationality and validity of the proposed method.

Hesitant fuzzy sets extend fuzzy sets by considering many-valued sets of membership degrees. Real applications validate this model and decision making approaches of various forms permit to act in a flexible manner. If we can avail ourselves of hesitant information on non-membership degrees too, then dual hesitant fuzzy sets provide a natural extension of both hesitant fuzzy sets and intuitionistic fuzzy sets. This article defines the concept of dual extended hesitant fuzzy set as the combination of extended hesitant fuzzy sets with dual hesitant fuzzy sets. Its basic algebraic properties are set forth, and the model is linked to other successful models in the literature. We also define a comparison law for the prioritization of elements described in this new framework. Moreover, we present an algorithm to solve the dual extended hesitant fuzzy decision making problem by a weight score function. Finally, the feasibility of this approach is demonstrated by the evaluation of big data industries with an effectiveness test.

The paper presents the correlation coefficient of refined-single valued neutrosophic sets (Refined-SVNSs) based on the extension of the correlation of single valued neutrosophic sets (SVNSs), and then a decision making method is proposed by the use of the weighted correlation coefficient of Refined-SVNSs. Through the weighted correlation coefficient between the ideal alternative and each alternative, we can rank all alternatives and the best one of all alternatives can be easily identified as well. Finally, to prove this decision making method proposed in this paper is useful to deal with the actual application, we use an example to illustrate it.

We propose some similarity measures between two triangular fuzzy numbers (TFNs) based on the vector similarity measures in vector space, which can be used to aggregate the decision information with TFNs. A methodology for multiple criteria group decision-making (MCGDM) problems with triangular fuzzy information is proposed; the criteria values take the form of linguistic values, which can be converts to TFNs. According to the weighted similarity measures between each alternative and ideal alternative, it is easy to rank alternatives and select the most desirable alternative. Finally, we apply the proposed methods to an illustrative example of MCGDM; the numerical results show that our method is effective and practical. For comparison, we also apply our similarity measures method to solve the fuzzy decision-making problem in Wei (2011); our method has simpler computation and gets the same results more rapidly than the FLOWHM method.

As an extension of hesitant fuzzy sets, dual hesitant fuzzy sets can depict the attitude when decision makers give their certain or uncertain hesitant fuzzy evaluation information. In this paper, we develop the dual hesitant fuzzy ordered weighted averaging (DHFOWA) operator and the dual hesitant fuzzy ordered weighted geometric (DHFOWG) operator, study their properties, utilize them to aggregate dual hesitant fuzzy decision making information and verify their effectiveness and correctness.
