A new species of the genus Agnetina are described from northern Vietnam, A. vietnamica sp. n. Its taxonomic relationships with the related species are discussed. The holotype is deposited in the Henan Institute of Science and Technology, China.

Peliosanthes longiracemosa, a new species from limestone areas of northern Vietnam, is described and illustrated. It is most similar to P. macrostegia in having a distally incurved staminal corona and a distinct pyramidal style, but clearly distinguishable chiefly by the broader leaf blades with more longitudinal veins and closer transverse veinlets, relatively longer, more slender raceme, more numerous widely expanded flowers with recurved perianth segments, and more incrassate, depressed globose staminal corona. Information on the habitat and phenology as well as notes on the taxonomic relationships with other congeners is also provided.

Rohdea dangii, a new species from limestone areas of Son La and Dien Bien Provinces in northwestern Vietnam, is described and illustrated. It is apparently most closely related to R. tonkinensis described from northern Vietnam, for these two species share an elongate aerial stem with no cataphylls (except for those at the base of the peduncle), narrowly elliptic leaf blades and filaments conspicuously incrassate in the lower decurrent portions. It is, however, readily distinguishable mainly by the longer, thicker rhizome, non-sheathing amplexicaule leaf blades, half-terete peduncle, much shorter bracts mostly not exceeding the flowers, and crateriform perigone tube. The taxonomic relationships of the new species to R. wattii and two other species with an aerial stem were also briefly discussed.

Schisandra cauliflora, a new species found in northern Vietnam and described here is referable to Schisandra subg. Sphaerostema. A morphological comparison with related species, and a key to species in the subgenus is provided. A description including details of distribution and habitat is supplemented with a line-drawing.

Steudnera hoanglienica is described as a new species from Lai Chau province of Vietnam. The characters of the new species are compared with the three known closely related species in Indochina.

We describe a new species of the Rhacophorus genus, which differs from all species known in Asia by the combination of characters. It strongly differs also from small and middle-sized species of Rhacophorus sensu lato: Rhacophorus calcaneus Smith, 1924, Leptomantis cyanopunctatus (Manthey et Steiof, 1998), Rhacophorus hoabinhensis Nguyen, Pham, Nguyen, Ninh et Ziegler, 2017, Rhacophorus hoanglienensis Orlov, Lathrop, Murphy et Ho, 2001, Zhangixalus jarujini (Matsui et Panha, 2006), Rhacophorus laoshan Mo, Jiang, Xie et Ohler, 2008, Rhacophorus pardalis Günther, 1858, Rhacophorus rhodopus Liu et Hu, 1960, Rhacophorus robertingeri Orlov, Poyarkov, Vassilieva, Ananjeva, Nguyen, Sang, and Geissler, 2012, Leptomantis robinsonii (Boulenger, 1903), Rhacophorus spelaeus Orlov, Gnophanxay, Phimminith, and Phomphoumy, 2010, Rhacophorus translineatus Wu, 1977, Rhacophorus turpes Smith, 1940, Rhacophorus vampyrus Rowley, Le, Thi, Stuart et Hoang, 2010, Rhacophorus viridimaculatus Ostroshabov, Orlov et Nguyen, 2013 by having brown color with two green dorsolateral stripes starting at the groin level and connecting through the distal part of eyelid with green triangle on the head, slender body and head, lower ratio HW/HL 0.86, lower HW/SVL 0.28 and lower ratio HL/SVL 0.32.

The oribatid mite subgenus Scheloribates (Topobates) Grandjean, 1958, is recorded from the Neotropical region for the first time. A new species of this subgenus is described from the leaf litter collected in Cayo Agua Island, Panama. Scheloribates (Topobates) panamaensis sp. nov. differs from its related species by the very large body size and presence of a strong ventrodistal process on the leg femora II–IV.

In this study, Fritillaria arsusiana (Liliaceae) is described and illustrated as a new species from Hatay province in southern Anatolia, Turkey. It is related to F. amana and F. hermonis by habitus features and broadly campanulate flowers, but differs mainly by its bulb shape and size, smaller leaf and flower features, and flower colour. It has also been morphologically compared with F. wendelboi, F. pinardii, and F. latakiensis. The detailed description, diagnostic characters, original photographs, geographical distribution, habitat and phenology, etymology, conservation status, and identification key of the new and the related species are presented in this study. IUCN conservation status of F. arsusiana is suggested as Critically Endangered (CR).

Lepidaploa restingae, a new species from the restinga vegetation in Northeastern Brazil, is described and illustrated. This new species differs from morphologically related species by the branch indument, leaf morphology, number of phyllary series and corolla lobe indument. Taxonomic comments, a distribution map and a preliminary conservation status for the new species are provided.
