The article considers a project of V.N.Muravyev: his representation of ideal future and ways of achievement of this ideal. The analysis of projectivism as an aspect of Russian philosophy is provided; the existence of “project philosophy” is problematized. The aim of the article is the analysis of V. Muravyev project, the research into the possibility of its realization using given methods. The primary question raised in this article is whether it is possible to resuscitate the past, prolong it into the future, carrying to it the most valuable things that have been at the humanity’s disposal? Author states a close link with a project of N.F. Fedorov, Muravyev’s predecessor. In his works, the main ideas of the philosophy of «Common Cause» are transformed and supplemented with the idea of «conquest of time». Muravyev’s project represents an ideal of the future which he develops using his own methodology of application of values of cosmism (and projectivism) based on the latter of Fedorov.

Historical ecology is a practical framework of concepts and methods for studying the past and future of the relationship between people and their environments. Its holistic, ethical, and place-based approach can ‘grow’ regional expertise in managing the future. This chapter offers an overview of the origins and growing integration of several strands that comprise historical ecology, paying particular attention to theoretical contexts and offering examples of practical applications. Historical ecology is not a new discipline so much as a ‘cluster’ or ‘cloud’ of mutually compatible questions, concepts, methods, and values that provide a rich environment within which to find common cause with other initiatives; such communities are taking shape and broadening their inclusivity.

Nationalism is a close link of three components, which are economic, political, and social nationalism. Although economic nationalism focuses on encouraging domestic consumption, adopting protection policies, and restricting imports, the final concerns of the nation are still territory and power. India, which has many competitive advantages but also faces a lot of obstacles on the development path, maintains economic nationalism in many different forms from M. Gandhi to N. Modi’s time. In the era of globalization and modernization, economic nationalism has remained persistent and has become an ideological system to help build a sustainable and stable economy. The article focuses on three main contents: (1) Overview of economic nationalism, (2) economic nationalism in India and as it has grown in the past, and (3) economic nationalism in India as it stands today and in the future.
