The combat capabilities of modern means of warfare in the air largely depend on the reliable operation of on-board electronic means (OEM) and weapon control systems of fighter aircraft. Therefore, in the course of military operations, each of the warring parties seeks to disorganise the operation of the enemy's radio-electronic systems and weapon controls as much as possible and ensure the stable operation of their own OEM by all means. This task is assigned to the means of electronic warfare (EW). During air combat, this task is assigned to the aircraft jamming station, whose place and role in modern air combat is constantly growing. The efficiency of the operation of this system is directly related to the aircraft survivability during a combat mission. This study considers the developed approach to the output of initial data on modelling the operation of airborne radars in conditions of interference and simultaneous active counteraction to enemy interference stations. The authors in this study have suggested a mathematical description of the air combat situation, which occurs when using methods of active countermeasures to enemy airborne interference systems by changing the parameters of the operation of the airborne gun-laying radar (AGLR). Indicators and criteria that characterise the effectiveness of the operation of airborne radars, depending on the method of counteraction used, were proposed, including a sequence of possible applications of the known four methods of counteraction, taking into account the features of their application.

The combat capabilities of modern means of warfare in the air, largely depend on the reliable functioning of electronic weapons and electronic weapon control systems. Therefore, during air operations, each of the belligerents will strive to disorganize the operation of radio-electronic means and radio-electronic systems for controlling forces and weapons in order to ensure the stable operation of their means. Modern stations of active interference of individual protection reduce aircraft damage by missiles with active and semi-active homing during air combat by 40-60%. The active development of airborne electronic countermeasures forces us to look for ways and means not only to protect against them, but also to actively counter these means, the so-called counter-radioelectronic countermeasures. Today, there are some methods of counter-radioelectronic counteraction to the airborne stations of active interference of the individual defense of the enemy, but the sequence and conditions of their application are not defined. Therefore, the article proposes to determine the features of the application of three methods of counter-radioelectronic counteraction and to develop an algorithm for counter-radioelectronic counteraction to on-board stations of active enemy interference in the conditions of the creation of various types of polarization interference by it. The development of the algorithm makes it possible to evaluate the effectiveness of the application of counter-radioelectronic countermeasures based on performance indicators of the operation of an on-board radar weapon control station.

The aim of the welfare state, in accordance with the Constitution of Ukraine is to ensure conditions for the growth of welfare of citizens. One of the major components in the well-being of civilized societies is to ensure that citizens and businesses the necessary energy. Energy development is the basis for enhancing the social and economic living standards of the population and competitiveness. The key to this goal should be a reliable, economically viable and environmentally sound needs of the population and the economy of energy products. It is important to identify the critical factors is a threat to the energy security of the national economy. The state of the energy sector of Ukraine is negatively affected by continued dependence on imports of Russian natural gas, petroleum products and fuel for power plants. Today such dependence on primary energy, including coal, has become a leverage to Ukraine on the part of the neighboring state. The loss of the fuel and energy complex, and areas for future development of hydrocarbon resources as a result of the annexation of the Crimea and the military operations in the east of the country, as well as the destruction of the oil and gas infrastructure in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, yielded additional new factors which significantly weakened the energy security of the country. Given the instability of strategic task for Ukraine, it is vital to achieve the highest possible level to ensure the economy’s own oil and gas resources, which, to a certain extent, will contribute to energy independence and savings of foreign exchange reserves of the country, as well as infrastructure development in the industry, tax revenues, creation of additional jobs.
