In order to investigate the influence of cooling efficiency of leading edge of film cooling blade with different turbulence intensity and blowing ratios, which use method of N-S equation, various blowing ratios of 1.0、1.5 and 2.0,various turbulence intensity of 5%、12%、20% and 30%,it simulated temperature field in leading edge of film cooling blade. The results show: cooling efficiency decreased when blowing ratios is increased. When turbulence intensity is 5%、12% and 20%,it obtains maximum cooling efficiency blowing ratios of 1.0.When turbulence intensity is 30%,it obtains maximum cooling efficiency blowing ratios of 1.5. In blowing ratios of 1.0,cooling efficiency decreased when turbulence increased. But in blowing ratios of 1.5 and 2.0,cooling efficiency increased when turbulence increased.

Heat-assisted magnetic recording (HAMR) is one of prospective high density recording technologies in current hard disk industry. It requires heating a spot on the recording media with the laser beam to overcome the superpara-magnetic limit. The heat produced by laser beam causes the temperature field on the hard disk surface to be highly non-uniform, which may lead to unexpectedly severe lubricant loss, or even the failure of the whole HAMR system. In the meantime, the heat loss caused by the optical delivery system may cause unwanted thermal protrusion on the slider body, which may affect slider’s flying stability in the end.

In order to create interior multiclimate zones suitable for plant cultivation in a solar chimney project proposed for the World Horticultural Exposition 2016 in China, the numerical investigation is performed to a solar chimney with 2 km radius and 1 km height. The simulation methodology is validated by experimental data. The impacts of inlet height and radius to interior thermal characteristics are evaluated. It is found that the temperature field is much similar when the inlet height decreases from 3.8 m to 0.5 m. With further decrease of the inlet height to 0.2 m, its impact to temperature field is significant. The temperature field is similar though the radius of solar chimney decreases from 2.0 km to 1.725 km. Further decrease to 1.13 km results in much lower temperature field as less radiate heat is obtained. The procedure of soil surface temperature calculation is also proposed to obtain the supplementary heat amount maintaining the required temperature for plant cultivation.
