AbstractIn this paper, we study an implicit sequential fractional order differential equation with non-instantaneous impulses and multi-point boundary conditions. The article comprehensively elaborate four different types of Ulam’s stability in the lights of generalized Diaz Margolis’s fixed point theorem. Moreover, some sufficient conditions are constructed to observe the existence and uniqueness of solutions for the proposed model. The proposed model contains both the integer order and fractional order derivatives. Thus, the exponential function appearers in the solution of the proposed model which will lead researchers to study fractional differential equations with well known methods of integer order differential equations. In the last, few examples are provided to show the applicability of our main results.

In this article, we discuss the existence and uniqueness of solutions for a new class of coupled system of sequential fractional differential equations involving ψ -Hilfer fractional derivatives, supplemented with multipoint boundary conditions. We make use of Banach’s fixed point theorem to obtain the uniqueness result and the Leray-Schauder alternative to obtain the existence result. Examples illustrating the main results are also constructed.

AbstractThis paper deals with a new class of non-linear impulsive sequential fractional differential equations with multi-point boundary conditions using Caputo fractional derivative, where impulses are non instantaneous. We develop some sufficient conditions for existence, uniqueness and different types of Ulam stability, namely Hyers–Ulam stability, generalized Hyers–Ulam stability, Hyers–Ulam–Rassias stability and generalized Hyers–Ulam–Rassias stability for the given problem. The required conditions are obtained using fixed point approach. The validity of our main results is shown with the aid of few examples.

Solving of Fractional differential equations of fractional (i.e., non-integer) order in an accurate, reliable and efficient way is much more difficult than in the standard integer-order case; moreover, the majority of the computational tools do not provide built-in functions for this kind of problem. In this paper was included the effective families of numerical methods for fractional-order problems, and the major computational issues such as the efficient treatment of the persistent memory term and the solution of the nonlinear systems involved in implicit methods using MATLAB routines specifically devised for solving three families of fractional-order problems: fractional differential equations (FDEs) (also for the non-scalar case), multi-order systems (MOSs) of FDEs and multi-term FDEs (also for the non-scalar case); some examples are provided to illustrate the use of the routines.

In this paper, the existence and uniqueness of solutions for a coupled system of ψ-Hilfer type sequential fractional differential equations supplemented with nonlocal integro-multi-point boundary conditions is investigated. The presented results are obtained via the classical Banach and Krasnosel’skiĭ’s fixed point theorems and the Leray–Schauder alternative. Examples are included to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.

Abstract In this paper, fractional-order derivatives satisfying conventional concepts, are considered in order to present some stability results on linear stationary differential equations of fractional-order. As expected, the obtained results are very close to the ones widely accepted in differential equations of integer order. Some examples are included in order to show how some restrictions of more sophisticated fractional-order derivatives are overcome.

In this paper, we discuss the existence and uniqueness of solutions for new classes of separated boundary value problems of Caputo-Hadamard and Hadamard-Caputo sequential fractional differential equations by using standard fixed point theorems. We demonstrate the application of the obtained results with the aid of examples.

In this paper, the existence and uniqueness of solutions to a coupled formally symmetric system of fractional differential equations with nonlinear p-Laplacian operator and nonlinear fractional differential-integral boundary conditions are obtained by using the matrix eigenvalue method. The Hyers–Ulam stability of the coupled formally symmetric system is also presented with certain growth conditions. By using the topological degree theory and nonlinear functional analysis methods, some sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of solutions to this coupled formally symmetric system are established. Examples are provided to verify our results.

In the present study, the nonlocal and integral boundary value problems for the system of nonlinear fractional differential equations involving the Caputo fractional derivative are investigated. Theorems on existence and uniqueness of a solution are established under some sufficient conditions on nonlinear terms. A simple example of application of the main result of this paper is presented.

Abstract In this paper, we study the existence and stability of Hilfer-type fractional differential equations (dynamic equations) on time scales. We obtain sufficient conditions for existence and uniqueness of solutions by using classical fixed point theorems such as Schauder's fixed point theorem and Banach fixed point theorem. In addition, Ulam stability of the proposed problem is also discussed. As in application, we provide an example to illustrate our main results.
