We introduce an overview of modern approaches to cloud confidential data processing. A significant part of data warehouse and data processing systems is based on cloud services. Users and organizations consider such services as a service provider. This approach allows users to take benefit from all of these technologies: they do not need to purchase, install and maintain expensive equipment, they can access the data and the calculation results from any device. Such data processing on cloud services carries certain risks because one of the participants of the protocol for securing access to cloud data storage may be an adversary. This leads to the threat of confidential information leakage. The above approaches are intended for databases in which information is stored in the encrypted form and they allow to work in the familiar paradigm of SQL queries. Despite the advantages such approach has some limitations. It is necessary to choose an encryption method and to maintain a balance between the reliability of encryption and the set of requests required by users. In the case if users are not limited by the framework of SQL queries, we propose another way of implementation of cloud computing over confidential data using free software. It is based on lambda architecture combined with certain restrictions on allowed deductively safe database queries.

Cloud storage services turned out to be continuously elegant. Owing to the implication of security, a few cloud storage secret composing schemes are anticipated to monitor data from those that don't approach. Every single such plan accepted that cloud storage providers region unit safe and can't be hacked; at the same time, in pursue, a few experts may drive cloud storage providers to uncover client insider facts or confidential data on the cloud, hence by and large going around storage mystery composing schemes. Amid this paper, we tend to bless our style for a pristine cloud storage mystery composing subject that permits cloud storage providers to make persuading false client privileged insights to protect client security. Since coercers can't reveal whenever acquired insider facts zone unit genuine or not, the cloud storage providers ensure that client security keeps on being immovably secured. The vast majority of the anticipated schemes expect cloud storage service providers or dependable outsiders taking care of key administration square measure solid and can't be hacked; nonetheless, in pursue, a few substances would conceivably capture interchanges among clients and cloud storage providers at that point urge storage providers to unfasten client privileged insights by misuse government control or diverse proposes that. All through this case, scrambled information square measure thought to be known and storage provider's square measure asked for to unfasten client insider facts

Cloud computing has created much enthusiasm in the IT world, institutions, business groups and different organizations and provided new techniques to cut down resource costs and increase its better utilization. It is a major challenge for cloud consumers and service providers equally. Establishing one's identity has become complicated in a vastly interconnected cloud computing network. The need of a consistent cloud security technique has increased in the wake of heightened concerns about security. The rapid development in cloud data storage, network computing services, accessing the cloud services from vendors has made cloud open to security threats. In this chapter, we have proposed an approach based on Ear Biometric for cloud security of individual consumers and vendors. This approaches started to get acceptance as a genuine method for determining an individual's identity. This chapter provides with the stepping stone for future researches to unveil how biometrics can change the cloud security scenario as we know it.

Abstract Security is important in cloud data storage while using the cloud services provided by the service provider in the cloud. Most of the research works have been designed for a secure cloud data storage. However, cloud users still have security issues with their outsourced data. In order to overcome such limitations, a Dynamic Bloom Filter Hashing based Cloud Data Storage (DBFH-CDS) Technique is proposed. The main goal of DBFH-CDS Technique is to improve confidentiality and security of data storage in a cloud environment. The proposed Technique is implemented using data fragmentation model and Bloom filter. The DBFH-CDS Technique uses data fragmentation model for fragmenting the large cloud datasets. After that, Bloom Filter is employed in DBFH-CDS Technique for storing the fragmented sensitive data along with higher security. The DBFH-CDS Technique ensures high data confidentiality and security for cloud data storage with the help of Bloom Filter. The performance of proposed DBFH-CDS Technique is measured in terms of Execution time and Data retrieval efficiency. The experimental results show that the DBFH-CDS Technique is able to improve the cloud data storage security with minimum space complexity as compared to state-of-the-art-works.

Cloud is an emerging technology that stores the necessary data and electronic form of data is produced in gigantic quantity. It is vital to maintain the efficacy of this data the need of data recovery services is highly essential. Cloud computing is anticipated as the vital foundation for the creation of IT enterprise and it is an impeccable solution to move databases and application software to big data centers where managing data and services is not completely reliable. Our focus will be on the cloud data storage security which is a vital feature when it comes to giving quality service. It should also be noted that cloud environment comprises of extremely dynamic and heterogeneous environment and because of high scale physical data and resources, the failure of data centre nodes is completely normal. Therefore, cloud environment needs effective adaptive management of data replication to handle the indispensable characteristic of the cloud environment. Disaster recovery using cloud resources is an attractive approach and data replication strategy which attentively helps to choose the data files for replication and the strategy proposed tells dynamically about the number of replicas and effective data nodes for replication. Thus, the objective of future algorithm is useful to help users together the information from a remote location where network connectivity is absent and secondly to recover files in case it gets deleted or wrecked because of any reason. Even, time oriented problems are getting resolved so in less time recovery process is executed.

Cloud computing and cloud data storage have become important applications on the Internet. An important trend in cloud computing and cloud data storage is group collaboration since it is a great inducement for an entity to use a cloud service, especially for an international enterprise. In this paper we propose a cloud data storage scheme with some protocols to support group collaboration. A group of users can operate on a set of data collaboratively with dynamic data update supported. Every member of the group can access, update and verify the data independently. The verification can also be authorized to a third-party auditor for convenience.
