The objective: was to assess the psychological status and quality of life of women in the treatment of recurrent pelvic inflammatory disease with chronic pelvic pain syndrome.Materials and methods. We observed 100 women of reproductive age who suffered from chronic pelvic pain syndrome in chronic inflammatory processes of the pelvic organs. All women were prescribed antibacterial therapy in combination with antihypoxants and antiplatelet agents. The first group included women (n=48) who were prescribed analgesics domestically due to existing contraindications to the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. The second group of women (n=52) received a rectally non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. The second group of women (n=52) received a rectally nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agent. Patients were interviewed 3 months after treatment: using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS), the McGill Questionnaire, the Spielberger–Hanin Questionnaire, the Depression Center of the US Center for Epidemiological Research, the Beck Depression Rating Scale, and the SF-36 Questionnaire.Results. According to the results of the assessment of quality of life and changes in psychological state, we noticed the following differences. In the group of women who received analgesic medium before muscle therapy, the change in muscle changed but slightly compared with the group of women who were offered the use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Indicators of quality of life and psychological condition in women of the second group have significantly improved.Conclusions. The results of this study indicate the relationship and comprehensive approach in the treatment of pelvic inflammatory disease, which is accompanied by pelvic pain.

Chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CPPS) is equally common in both men and women, causes worsening quality of life, social isolation and disability. The treatment of CPPS requires long-term pharmacotherapy associated with the development of class-specific side effects of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Genetic study of the carriage of polymorphic alleles of the CYP2C9 gene involved in the metabolism of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) prescribed to patients with CPPS is an urgent and in-demand task of modern healthcare. This study allows us not only to determine the genotypes of patients with CPPS but also to identify ways of personalized approach to therapy.

A correct classification of female pelvic pain originating from gynaecological disorders is essential if the most appropriate therapy is to be chosen. Certain types of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and oral contraceptives reduce the production of prostaglandins, which are responsible in large part for primary dysmenorrhoea. Oestroprogestin formulations become the drugs of choice if the patient also requests contraception. Secondary dysmenorrhoea and chronic pelvic pain may require combined medical and surgical treatment. Oral contraceptives can also be used as post-treatment agents in endometriosis, one of the most common causes of pelvic pain, whereas more specific compounds (GnRH-analogues and Danazol) are used to produce anatomical regression of endometriosis.

The question of the prevention of pathologies of the labor is currently very important, the answer to them has become the favored formation of «dominants of delivery», choice of the optimal time to delivery, effective and safe method of induction, that promotes the promptness of the female organism and ripening of the cervix, as well as the timely identification and correction of pathological prelмmмnary period. In a review article describes the modern approaches and methods of preventing the pathology of labor activity, presented by the authors ‘ own experience regarding the use of prostaglandins, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, individual approach to the management of perinatal risk. Key words: childbirth, prevention, induction, prostaglandin, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
