Background: PIH is associated with increased vascular resistance and decreased utero -placental perfusion resulting in an increased incidence of foetal hypoxia and impaired foetalgrowth.The objective of this study was to assess the diagnostic performance of S/D ratio, resistance index(RI), pulsatility index (PI) and cerebro-placental ratio (CPR) in the prediction of adverse perinatal outcome in PIH and IUGR. Objective: is to determine S/D ratio, RI, PI, CPR and asses their diagnostic values in the prediction of adverse perinatal outcome.Material& Methods:50 pregnant patients with PIH and IUGR, beyond 28 weeks of gestation, were prospectively studied at P k das institute of medical college,vaniyamkulamand subjected for Doppler study of the umbilical artery and foetal middle cerebral artery. The abnormality of above parameters was correlated with the major adverse perinatal outcome.Results:Patients with abnormal Doppler parameters had a poor perinatal outcome, compared to those who had normal Doppler study. The cerebro-placental ratios(CPR) had the sensitivity and specificity, positive and negative predictive values of 95%,76%,73%,95% respectively with Kappa value of o .68(good agreement) and p value of .000 which was statistically significant, for the prediction of major adverse perinatal outcome.Conclusions:This study shows that Doppler study of umbilical and foetal middle cerebral artery can reliably predict the neonatal morbidity and helpful in determining the optimal time of delivery in complicated pregnancies. The CPR is more accurate than the independent evaluation of S/D, RI, PI, in identifying foetus with adverse perinatal outcome.

Abstract ObjectiveTo explore the autophagy effect of ghrelin on the ovarian cancer cell line SK-OV-3. And the lncRNA which regulate the ghrelin effect SK-OV-3 autophagy was showed.Methodsthe expression of ghrelin in the ovarian cancer tissues was analyzed according GEPIA database and HPA database. The CCK-8 was used to detect the the optimal concentration of ghrelin effect on the SK-OV-3. The influence on the SK-OV-3 cell autophagy by ghrelin was showed by detecting the expression of Beclin-1, LC3Ⅰand LC3Ⅱusing western blot. Linc00598 selected as the effecting the SK-OV-3 cells autophagy by ghrelin using RNA-Seq. And the Linc00598 which was silenced or overexressed promote the SK-OV-3 cells autophagy treated by ghrelin though western blot.ResultsGhrelin was expressed low in the ovarian cancer tissues. Ghrelin concentratio of 600 ng/ml was the optimal concentration o and 24 h was the optimal time. Ghrelin can promote the SK-OV-3 cell autophagy. Ghrelin mainly through linc00598 to promote the SK-OV-3 cells autophagy. When the linc00598 silenced, ghrelin promote SK-OV-3 cells autophagy was inhibited. And When the linc00598 overexpressed, ghrelin promote SK-OV-3 cells autophagy was inhanced.ConclusionsGhrelin promote SK-OV-3 cells autophagy. Additionally, we proved that ghrelin regulated the progression of SK-OV-3 cells autophagy by linc00598/ Beclin1 axis.

Abstract Purpose Two treatment modalities are considerable for radiation therapy: short-course radiotherapy and immediate surgery or chemoradiation with 5-Fluorouracil based chemotherapy with delayed surgery. In this study, we try to evaluate the real-life treatment approaches of medical, radiation, and surgical oncologists for neoadjuvant treatment of rectal cancers. Method The online survey form was established via Google Forms. The survey was taken voluntarily by medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists, and general surgeons. Results One hundred eighty-three of the participants were medical oncologists while 36 were radiotherapists and 36 were surgeons. Most of the study population preferred long-course radiation therapy and chemotherapy which was consisting eighty-five percent. Two-thirds of the participants apply chemotherapies before operation. The most frequent chemotherapy cycles for the pre-operative setting were ‘three’ or ‘four-or-more’ with the percent of 27,8 and 25,1 respectively. Medical oncologists had a significantly higher tendency of offering chemotherapy between radiation therapy and surgery compared with the other groups. The optimal time of surgery was different between groups. There was no difference among groups between surgery and the ‘watch & wait’ strategy. A significant difference was observed between groups in offered neoadjuvant chemotherapy regimens. Conclusion In our study, we found the new pre-operative chemotherapy regimen with short-course radiotherapy was slowly adopted in current practice. Also, medical oncologists tend pre-operative chemotherapy compared with other groups. The optimal surgery time for patients receiving neoadjuvant treatment is still controversial.

In many space missions, spacecraft are required to have the ability to avoid various obstacles and finally reach the target point. In this paper, the path planning of spacecraft attitude maneuver under boundary constraints and pointing constraints is studied. The boundary constraints and orientation constraints are constructed as finite functions of path evaluation. From the point of view of optimal time and shortest path, the constrained attitude maneuver problem is reduced to optimal time and path solving problem. To address this problem, a metaheuristic maneuver path planning method is proposed (cross-mutation grey wolf algorithm (CMGWO)). In the CMGWO method, we use angular velocity and control torque coding to model attitude maneuver, which increases the difficulty of solving the problem. In order to deal with this problem, the grey wolf algorithm is used for mutation and evolution, so as to reduce the difficulty of solving the problem and shorten the convergence time. Finally, simulation analysis is carried out under different conditions, and the feasibility and effectiveness of the method are verified by numerical simulation.

Abstract Background Legionella pneumophila is an opportunistic waterborne pathogen of significant public health problems, which can cause serious human respiratory diseases (Legionnaires’ disease). Multiple cross displacement amplification (MCDA), a isothermal nucleic acid amplification technique, has been applied in the rapid detection of several bacterial agents. In this report, we developed a MCDA coupled with Nanoparticles-based Lateral Flow Biosensor (MCDA-LFB) for the rapid detection of L. pneumophila. Results A set of 10 primers based on the L. pneumophila specific mip gene to specifically identify 10 different target sequence regions of L. pneumophila was designed. The optimal time and temperature for amplification are 57 min and 65 °C. The limit of detection (LoD) is 10 fg in pure cultures of L. pneumophila. No cross-reaction was obtained and the specificity of MCDA-LFB assay was 100%. The whole process of the assay, including 20 min of DNA preparation, 35 min of L. pneumophila-MCDA reaction, and 2 min of sensor strip reaction, took a total of 57 min (less than 1 h). Among 88 specimens for clinical evaluation, 5 (5.68%) samples were L. pneumophila-positive by MCDA-LFB and traditional culture method, while 4(4.55%) samples were L. pneumophila-positive by PCR method targeting mip gene. Compared with culture method, the diagnostic accuracy of MCDA-LFB method was higher. Conclusions In summary, the L. pneumophila-MCDA-LFB method we successfully developed is a simple, fast, reliable and sensitive diagnostic tool, which can be widely used in basic and clinical laboratories.

the group of deformed structures includes buildings that have received unacceptable subsidence and deformation during the period of their construction and especially operation, which, however, do not interfere with the perfor-mance of their main functions, but may eventually collapse. Their causes are errors in engineering and geological surveys and design; violation of the rules for performing construction work and operation of buildings and struc-tures. Long-term geodetic observations of the precipitation of the foundations of buildings on pile foundations have shown that both absolute and relative stabilized values of subsidence in the vast majority of cases are less than them and the normative limit values are calculated. Therefore, the group of deformed buildings on pile foun-dations includes somewhat less often similar objects with shallow foundations. The reasons for excessive subsid-ence of the foundations of pile foundations of buildings (and as a result, the occurrence and development of cracks and other deformations in load – bearing structures), in addition to these, are most often: unjustified use of increasing correction coefficients for the results of compression tests of highly acidic soils; the lower ends of the piles falling into layers of weak soil; the tip of the piles sinking from the design mark; overestimation of the bear-ing capacity of the piles due to non-compliance with the optimal time of their "rest" after immersion or erroneous interpretation of the graphs "load-pile sediment"; excessively close placement of neighboring piles in the plan, which when they are immersed, especially in the sand, leads to "pushing" up previously submerged; uneven load-ing of piles as part of the grillage; deformation of existing buildings and structures when driving piles near and tongue-and-groove, the development of pits, etc.

The optimal process conditions when examining the antioxidant potential, total polyphenol content, and attribute liking in roasted rice germ flavored herbal tea were investigated using response surface methodology (RSM). The influence upon the extraction process of time and temperature was assessed using a full factorial design on three levels with two variables (32), involving five central point replicates. Extraction temperature (70 °C, 80 °C, and 90 °C) and extraction time (3 min, 4.5 min, and 6 min) served as independent variables, while the dependent variables were allocated to the regression equation to determine antioxidant activity (R2 = 0.941) along with total polyphenol content (R2 = 0.849), flavor liking score (R2 = 0.758), and overall liking score (R2 = 0.816). Following experimentation, it was determined that the optimal time and temperature conditions to maximize total polyphenol content, antioxidant activity, flavor, and overall liking score were in a range of 86 °C to 90 °C for 3.4 min to 5.9 min. When these conditions were imposed, the antioxidant potential, total polyphenol content, flavor, and overall liking score were >70% for DPPH scavenging activity, >75 mgGAE/g, >6.7 (like moderately), and >6.5 (like moderately), respectively.

With increasing numbers of vaccine-breakthrough infections worldwide, assessing the immunogenicity of vaccinated health-care workers that are frequently exposed to SARS-CoV-2-infected individuals is important. In this study, neutralization titers against SARS-CoV-2 were assessed one month after completed prime-boost vaccine regimens in health-care workers vaccinated with either mRNA–mRNA (Comirnaty®, BioNTech-Pfzier, Mainz, Germany/New York, NY, USA, n = 98) or vector-based (Vaxzevria®, Oxford-AstraZeneca, Cambridge, UK) followed by mRNA-based (Comirnaty® or Spikevax®, Moderna, Cambridge, MA, USA) vaccines (n = 16). Vaccine-induced neutralization titers were compared to time-matched, unvaccinated individuals that were infected with SARS-CoV-2 and presented with mild symptoms (n = 38). Significantly higher neutralizing titers were found in both the mRNA–mRNA (ID50: 2525, IQR: 1667–4313) and vector–mRNA (ID50: 4978, IQR: 3364–7508) prime-boost vaccine regimens when compared to SARS-CoV-2 infection (ID50: 401, IQR: 271–792) (p < 0.0001). However, infection with SARS-CoV-2 induced higher titers when compared to a single dose of Vaxzevria® (p = 0.0072). Between mRNA–mRNA and vector–mRNA prime-boost regimens, the vector–mRNA vaccine regimen induced higher neutralization titers (p = 0.0054). Demographically, both age and time between vaccination doses were associated with vaccine-induced neutralization titers (p = 0.02 and p = 0.03, respectively). This warrants further investigation into the optimal time to administer booster vaccination for optimized induction of neutralizing responses. Although anecdotal (n = 3), those with exposure to SARS-CoV-2, either before or after vaccination, demonstrated superior neutralizing titers, which is suggestive of further boosting through viral exposure.
