Abstract A new distribution map is provided for Ophelimus maskelli. Hymenoptera: Eulophidae. Hosts: Eucalyptus species, including red gum (E. camaldulensis) and Tasmanian blue gum (E. globulus). Information is given on the geographical distribution in Europe (Corsica and Mainland France; Greece; Mainland Italy and Sicily, Italy; Mainland Portugal; Balearic Islands and Mainland Spain; and England and Wales, UK), Asia (Israel and Turkey), Africa (Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia) and Oceania (New South Wales, Australia, and New Zealand).

The Eucalyptus leaf gall wasp, Ophelimus maskelli (Ashmead) (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae), an invasive pest of Eucalyptus spp., which has been rapidly increasing its geographical distribution, is recorded for the first time in the Canary Islands.
