Part accuracy and quality in rapid prototyping process using solid powder in the part cake are typically dependent upon thermal system and powder properties. The part cake is a rectangular mild steel cylinder with movable part plate piston. For maximum thermal stress reduction in the part-building process, about 1.27 cm or 2.54 cm initial solid powder was uniformly laid in the part cake. The powder was then warmed to a certain temperature before sintering. The amount of moisture present in the solid powder will have significant impact on the required warm-up time. In the moisture vaporization process, solid powder temperature in the computational cell will remain at 100°C until the moisture mass fraction reaches zero. The warm-up time of the cell will increase as the moisture content of the powder increases. Reference data has yet to be published on warm-up times, therefore machine operators will find variances in warm-up times. To better predict the warm-up time for the solid powder heating process with moisture vaporization in the warm-up stage of the part cake, a vaporization code model was developed that can also simulate the heating process with vaporization for any solid particle mixed with any liquid agent.

Abstract Increasing the temperature produces a decrease in tire volume. After longer times the volume tends to increase again. The initial decrease is attributed to the predominance of the Gough-Joule effect over thermal expansion and the delayed increase, to creep.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi latihan chair shooting, latihan jump shoot  di depan rintangan dan latihan jump shoot warm up terhadap hasil jump shoot Klub Bola Basket Angsapura Medan tahun 2018. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan pelaksanaan latihan yaitu latihan chair shooting, latihan jump shoot di depan rintangan dan latihan jump shoot warm up. Populasi adalah seluruh pemain bola basket putera yang berjumlah 20 orang. Jumlah sampel 15 orang diperoleh dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian untuk pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan test tembakan jump shoot untuk mengetahui kemampuan shooting menggunakan 10 bola dari 5 penjuru mata angin pada tempat yang sama. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 5 minggu dengan frekuensi latihan 4 kali dalam seminggu. Berdasarkan hasil test tembakan jump shoot terdapat 9 atlet (60%) yang mengalami peningkatan dalam melakukan test jump shoot sedangan 6 atlet (40%) lagi masih belum mencapai peningkatan yang signifikan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari variasi latihan chair shooting, latihan jump shoot di depan rintangan dan latihan jump shoot warm up terhadap peningkatan hasil jump shoot Klub Bola Basket Angsapura Medan.
