The container port develops from the traditional loading and unloading transportation to the modern comprehensive logistics industry. Its function has made great extension, however the logistics system needs to be further integration optimization , this paper aims at the present stage of the unbalanced development of port container transportation , the service and coordinated ability is weak , the consciousness of cooperative competition is more poorer , the multimodal transportation is imperfection, the construction of information automation lag and so on, proposing measures to strengthen technological innovation , improve the consciousness of cooperative competition , and improve the level of container transportation services , etc. speeding up the integrated optimization of Container port logistics system resources and give full play to the container port overall advantage ,so as to promote competition ability .

Abstract The contemporary supply chains in which container ports logistics operate are characterized by increased uncertainties driven by a range of factors such as socioeconomic factors and changing supply chain strategies in response to market dynamics. Recently, the occurrences and effects of these factors on global economic activities, and thus container port logistics, have been intensified by the COVID-19 pandemic. Enabling flexibility in port logistics is more important than ever to navigate uncertainties, now and in the post-COVID-19 world. This paper seeks to develop a conceptual framework to holistically capture different dimensions of container port logistics capacity. A systematic literature review method is employed to formulate a conceptual framework depicting the structure of various elements of capacity and the interplay among the logistics triad of transport carriers, port operators, and logistics service providers whose interactions and service capacities constitute the overall capacity of the system. The study reveals four dimensions of port logistics capacity, namely seaside interface, platform, landside interface, and system-wide, each of which consists of subelements that can be distinguished into static or adjustable. The proposed framework provides insights corresponding to the logistics triad roles and interactions within the system for understanding uncertainty characteristics, assessing various elements of capacity, and identifying potential levers to build flexibility into these interrelated capacity elements.

Along with the rapid growth of world trade, new requirement for throughput efficiency of modern container port are put forward. The existing optimization method to research the transport of the container terminal is single and complex. So in this article, the quantitative integrated optimization of the quay cranes and the trucks is made and the research scale is enlarge, in order to improve the efficiency of the research results. A model is built based on queuing network theory, and the mathematical algorithm is used to solve the model. Some experiments are used to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of this study. The result shows that developed a genetic algorithm get the most optimal ratio of resource, and through a series of numerical examples . Are given The method to match the quay cranes and the trucks at container port logistics system, obtained by the techniques and algorithms in this study, can improvs the comprehensive efficiency of container ports.

Seaport services are an important and decisive focal point in improving the logistics process's efficiency. Several prerequisites such as productivity and customer satisfaction are considered to be mandatory measures of port performance. Therefore, the determination of the characteristics and the evaluation of the effects of those important factors on the efficient operation of the port has always attracted much attention from scholars. This work aims to identify and evaluate the factors of port characteristics affecting container port operation efficiency. As a result, the port operation is more efficient. The competitiveness is enhanced in the context of fierce competition in seaport business in general and container ports and container terminals in particular. With qualitative methods combined with quantitative, using a 5-point width scale, analysis according to the linear structure model (SEM) with 530 samples. The research results show that 6 factors belong to the characteristics of container ports: infrastructure, location, inland connectivity, dynamism, logistics services, attractiveness impact the performance of container port operation. As meaningful, the study can bring benefits to port and container terminal businesses to build the right policies and decisions in competitiveness enhancement and help policymakers and port planning have an overview when implementing the plan.

This study provides a theoretical background on container port logistics in global supply chains. A descriptive analysis including a literature review was carried out in order to achieve the study. This study shows that the container port logistics chain involves all levels of organizational units throughout the supply chain. Therefore, it ensures coordination and exchanges in terms of physical flows, financial flows and informational flow in such a way that the goods are handled and distributed in the right kind. In addition, the analysis finds that the logistics chain required to be evolved with the international changes of maritime transport in order to keep the competitive of seaport. Thus, there is a need to optimize all seaport activities to attain the benefits of the logistics chain. Moreover, this study contributes to the field by exploring the container port logistics integration concept. One of the important findings of this study is that the port is central to logistics — the multidimensional system with a complex activities. Consequently, the findings are relevant to all actors such as transport companies and logistics service providers.
