LDRI system stands for Laser Dynamic Range Imager. It has been used in STS-114 mission in 2005 as the main sensors to realize an on-orbit inspection of the thermal protection system which covers the Orbiter spacecraft. The basic of LDRI is phase discrimination and the key technology is the realization of optoelectronic mixing (OEM) using ICCD. Unfortunately, 2 main drawbacks arise from the usage of ICCD, including the high voltage (~2000V) of PMT drivers and the difficulties in high voltage modulations. SiPM is a rather novel detector which has the similar performances as PMT does but only requires a driving voltage of about 30V. Recently, the SiPM based OEM has been proved and this implies the implement of SiPM in LDRI system. In this paper, the basic of LDRI and SiPM are summerized and some theoretical analysis and simulations are made to verify the feasibility of implement of SiPM in LDRI system. The results show that SiPM is capable of realizing phase discrimination regardless of the high driving voltage and difficulties in modulations. The mean range error is found to be no more than 0.4mm within a range of 5m and an average incident power of 6nW.

On the basis of introducing the working principle of the electrical fast transient pulse/burst generator, the method of combination of AC inverting and DC boosting is adopted to design a kind of DC high voltage power supply used for the electrical fast transient pulse/burst generator after the further study about the key technology of the high voltage DC power supply according to the requirements of IEC61000-4-4. The experiments show that the power output voltage reaches 5 KV, meanwhile the range of output voltage is from 0.1 KV to 5.0 KV within the linearity is about 5%, the electric power can be up to 250 watts. Above all, the design meets the requirements of the high voltage power supply for the electrical fast transient pulse/burst generator.

The development of smart grid puts higher requirement on the intelligentization of high-voltage equipment including transformers. At present, the intelligentization of transformers is mainly realized through intelligent components. The combination of intelligent components and transformer can realize the measurement, control, calculation, inspection and protection of the transformer. This paper detailedly described the hardware design framework and software function modules of transformer intelligent components, as well as the expert diagnosis system applied to transformer intelligent components. The intelligent components designed by this paper have been successfully applied to 220kV intelligent substation, which is operating stably and reliably. This can promote the development of intelligentized primary power equipment and smart grid as well.
