The young woman, who considered herself pregnant, developed blood and pain after 5 weeks of pregnancy and lasted for six weeks. She was admitted to the hospital for the operation. In the left side of the pelvis, an elastic tumor the size of an orange was hidden, displaced the uterus to the right, and a stretched tube was felt behind the uterus. During anesthesia, the patient's breathing suddenly became superficial and the pulse weakened, the patient turned pale.

Tubal pregnancy concerns 97% of all ectopic pregnancies. Treatment can be either surgical (salpingostomy or salpingectomy) or medical (methotrexate administration). We present a case of a pseudotubal pregnancy after methotrexate treatment of a previous ectopic pregnancy. A37-year-old woman was diagnosed with ectopic pregnancy in the left Fallopian tube. A year ago, she had an ectopic pregnancy in the right tube, which was successfully treated with intramuscular methotrexate. During laparoscopy, two tubal masses were revealed, one in each Fallopian tube, and bilateral salpingectomy was performed. Histological analysis confirmed tubal pregnancy in the left Fallopian tube and presence of endosalpingitis in the right tube with no signs of chorionic villi. The optimal management of such cases has not yet been clarified. However, evaluation of tubal patency after a medically treated ectopic pregnancy would permit proper counsel of the patient on her fertility options, in order to choose the appropriate method of conception to achieve and accomplish a future pregnancy.

To the Vorrat l. a woman was brought in a state of collapse with a diagnosis of an ectopic pregnancy; pulse 144, barely perceptible. The rupture occurred in 18 hours, there were fainting, vomiting. The abdomen is not distended, soft, the tumor cannot be felt from the outside, and per vaginam examination is not done to speed up the operation. When the abdomen was opened, the tissues were found bloodless: none of the vessels showed blood; a few pounds of liquid blood spilled out of the peritoneal cavity; clamps were placed on the stretched right fallopian tube and broad ligament, and the fallopian tube was excised along with the ovary; the rupture was near the uterus. The operated woman recovered, although W. did not count on it.

Cornual pregnancy is a specific variety of ectopic gestation which occurs in the rudimentary horn of the uterus. It often rupture later than other tubal pregnancies because the myometrium is more distensible than the fallopian tube. Traditionally, the treatment is cornual resection (removal of rudimentary horn) or hysterectomy where the pedicle is short and the attachment is wide. Here, we report a case where cornual pregnancy was diagnosed at 17 weeks of gestation after uterine rupture and profound haemorrhage. Abstract Background The presence of the levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system embedded within an ectopic pregnancy is a rare occurrence. Tubal migration of an intrauterine device is not well understood and has not been extensively studied in literature. Case presentation A 34-year-old African woman, para 1, gravida 2, presented with symptoms of ruptured ectopic pregnancy. She underwent a laparoscopy where a ruptured left ectopic pregnancy was found with a levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system inserted 2 years prior embedded within the tube. A left salpingectomy was performed with removal of the levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system. The patient recovered well and proceeded to have an intrauterine pregnancy 3 months later. Conclusion Migration of the levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system into the fallopian tube is a rare occurrence that is not well understood. In the case presented, levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system was found embedded within the fimbrial end of the left fallopian tube, which had a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. Surgical treatment with laparoscopy is recommended for intraabdominal intrauterine device to prevent complications.

<p>Interstitial pregnancy is a rare variety of ectopic pregnancy, it can have disturbed 8-16 weeks of amenorrhea (later than the distal tubal ectopic pregnancy), due to the dispensability of the myometrium covering the interstitial segment of the fallopian tube, with subsequent massive internal hemorrhage.<br />A 29-years-old female, Gravida 3, Para 2, presented with severe abdominal pain, vomiting, and syncope 3 days after her missing period, and positive pregnancy test. Trans-vaginal ultrasound showed empty uterine cavity, free pelvic fluid with severe cervical motion tenderness. She was diagnosed with ruptured ectopic pregnancy. Ruptured ectopic pregnancy in the proximal segment of right fallopian tube was confirmed with laparotomy.<br />The ruptured pregnancy was managed by right salpingectomy, and hemostatic stitches at the right uterine corn. Her hemoglobin was 8 gr on admission, and she received 3 units of packed RBCs (one intra-operative, and two post-operative). Her post-operative hemoglobin was 10.5 gr, and she was discharged from the hospital on the 3rd post-operative day in good general condition for follow up in the outpatients` department. <br />This case report represents a rare variety of ectopic pregnancy, which is the interstitial pregnancy, because it can rupture few days or weeks after the missed period with subsequent massive internal hemorrhage. <br />Interstitial pregnancy is a rare form of ectopic pregnancy, the obstetricians should be aware of rare forms of ectopic pregnancies, it can have disturbed few days or weeks after the missed period leading to subsequent significant morbidity.</p>

Recurrent ectopic pregnancy in a remnant fallopian tube after ipsilateral salpingectomy is clinically rare. We report the extremely rare case of a third recurrent ectopic pregnancy after two previous salpingectomy procedures involving the opposite tube. A 26-year-old woman, gravida 3 para 0, experienced three ectopic pregnancies brought about by natural conception, all of which were treated surgically (right partial salpingectomy, right remnant tube resection, and left total salpingectomy). During the two salpingectomy procedures involving the right tube, the patency of the intact left tube was intraoperatively confirmed with indigo carmine. The most appropriate surgical intervention should be discussed when managing recurrent ectopic pregnancies. It might be necessary to perform total salpingectomy to reduce the risk of future recurrence on the remaining tube.

Benign solid tumors of the fallopian tubes are extremely rare and often difficult to differentiate from tumors associated with adjacent organs or from various inflammatory diseases. Here, we present a patient who was diagnosed with ectopic pregnancy, based on preoperative tests and intraoperative macroscopic findings, but was later diagnosed with a fallopian tube adenofibroma, based on histopathological evidence, and intrauterine pregnancy. Although initial pregnancy test results were positive, no gestational sac (GS) was seen in the uterus and the patient was diagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy and underwent emergency laparoscopic surgery. A 20-mm, fetus-like solid mass was noted inside the GS-like cystic tumor of the left fallopian tube. From histopathological findings, the lesion was identified as a serous fallopian tube adenofibroma. The baby was born healthy with no problems. This case report suggests that fallopian tube adenofibroma should be considered in the differential diagnosis of suspected ectopic pregnancies.
