As the result of globalization, the English language teaching goals in many countries have shifted from communicative competence to intercultural communicative competence (ICC). However, among the small number of studies on ICC in Indonesia, most of them focus on ICC in the tertiary level which shows there is a gap of work in the secondary level of education. Thus, this article attempts to seek the truth about senior high school teachers understanding and beliefs as well as revealing their attempts in promoting ICC in the classroom. The case study was employed with two novice teachers as participants through interview and document analysis. The finding shows some interesting facts that both teachers viewed concept of ICC similarly as cross-cultural understanding in a way both to overcome misunderstanding and culture shock. Both teachers believed that language is culture bound, yet, only a very small trace of cultural aspects were shown in the documents; and as they viewed culture as dynamic, yet, the content being taught mainly covered static domain of culture. Keywords: Byrams five savoirs; culture education; intercultural communicative competence.

The idea that different cultures think differently about cultural aspects of education is clearly seen in Cyberspace, where people converge, discuss and apply new ideas to the educational programs in their home countries. It is because of Cyberspace that our ideas pertaining to culture education changed or shifted from their axis. Cyberspace continues to grow and the growth triggers problems, which is normal considering it is a place where many cultures interact with each other. As pedagogues and teachers, we should counteract cyberbullying and cyberstalking in Cyberspace and prevent such things from happening in real life. In my opinion, everyone should learn the culture of his/her home country and countries he/she will someday come into contact with. We cannot continue to be blinded by what others say, we need to educate children so that we can be proud of them further down the line. Otherwise children will educate themselves and that can contribute to hate, misunderstandings, prejudice, and anger towards people from other cultures. This paper will give examples of the diversity of cultures comprising our world and try to show how we can protect and help children by listening to them so that they can understand this diversity, and allow them to be the creators of their own future, which would not be based on prejudice and stereotype.

The article considers the manifestations of the phenomenon of economic risk in the socioeconomic ecosystems of industrial enterprises, examines and differentiates the pragmatic and cultural aspects of the concept of "economic risk management". In terms of methodology, the study is based on the operational theory of risk management, and also uses tools to describe the organizational culture of risk management. Pragmatic and cultural differences in the characteristics of economic risk are identified at the level of stable forms of management activity with the involvement of the main provisions of the operational theory of risk management. The phenomenon of risk is considered in the ontological space as an artificial category of activity of industrial enterprises and other economic agents that form a socio-economic ecosystem. This phenomenon is studied as a specific form of social communication associated with the desire to assess the uncertain future in the present time, mainly from the point of view of analysis and management of the level of economic risk in the enterprise.
