Nowadays gaining new skills is a necessity and as such, avenues for gaining new skills need to be easily accessed and available. LMS which stands for Learning Management System gives you the ability to create, discover, and track courses anywhere with any device. In the past, strong softwares for handling complex databases have cooperated with digital platforms to manage and handle the curriculum of the courses and they provided evaluation tools. This paper aims to describe the Learning Management System and how it can benefit the educational process, basing on a case study of C Programming Online Course at the Near East University . The research used resources from previous studies and collected data using a case study. The findings are presented in the research. Based on the findings, it is evident that the benefits LMS has on learning programming is significant. Keywords: Cloud Storage; LMS; Online Compiler, Software Programming;

This chapter deals with several details related to e-learning represented in the concept of learning management systems, types of learning management systems in terms of learning management system and course management system, learning and content. The authors will clarify the importance of e-learning management systems in the educational process and features of e-learning management systems. In addition, the authors will explain the steps chosen for e-learning management systems with inference on some examples of e-learning management systems. At the end of the chapter, they will talk about learning management systems in Arab universities in the education process.

We use the Moodle at the University of Debrecen, Businessand Agricultural Department since January 2007. The Moodle is an open source Learning Management System. Learning Management System (or LMS) which is a software package, which enables the management and delivery of learning content and resources to students. Most LMS systems are web-based to facilitate „anytime, anywhere” access to learning content and administration. LMS tracks student progress in a course and indicates completions. At the least, learning management systemstrack individual student progress, record scores of quizzes and tests within an online learning program, and track course completions. The Moodle has more and more function at our Department in education. In January we worked to introduce Moodle in our Faculty. Therefore, we took lessons for the tutors about the usage of the Moodle. Our aim was to develop such a learning system, which is an integral part of  educational process,to improve the efficiency of agricultural higher education.

Being commonly used worldwide, e-learning courses are only starting to evolve in regional Russian universities. Unlike the most Moodle-using colleagues, the authors created mathematical modeling e-course with not so well-known in Russia learning management system Cocalc. The biggest advantage of Cocalc is the ability to write and compile program code inside, with a lot of programming languages supported. Using statistical methods, the authors assessed the results of the course implementation, revealing that students began to perform tasks faster, learned to program fluently in R and Latex and increased their English level knowledge.

Online education helped resume learning that had come to a momentary and uncertain pause with the onset of COVID-19 pandemic across the globe. Since then, learning in many educational institutions continued through synchronous and asynchronous modes, with teaching being undertaken remotely on digital platforms. In this large-scale migration towards online mode of curriculum delivery induced by the pandemic, the institutional learning management system (LMS) had a critical role to play in ensuring uninterrupted learning and student engagement. By drawing heavily from extant works, learnings from MOOC platforms, observations from the LMS applications in corporate training, the present article synthesis the extant literature on how the effective use of LMS can make the learning process interactive, student centric, catering to the needs of diverse learners in higher education.

Abstract Traditional Learning Management Systems are installed on a single server where learning materials and user data are kept. To increase its performance, the Learning Management System can be installed on multiple servers; learning materials and user data could be distributed across these servers obtaining a Distributed Learning Management System. In this paper is proposed the prototype of a recommendation system based on association rules for Distributed Learning Management System. Information from LMS databases is analyzed using distributed data mining algorithms in order to extract the association rules. Then the extracted rules are used as inference rules to provide personalized recommendations. The quality of provided recommendations is improved because the rules used to make the inferences are more accurate, since these rules aggregate knowledge from all e-Learning systems included in Distributed Learning Management System.
