Abstract Hydatid cysts develop most frequently in the liver and lungs, but they are occasionally found in other organs. Hydatid cysts in the axillary space are an extremely rare event in areas where the disease is endemic, and are still common in many countries, including Turkey. A 73-year-old man presented to our clinic with a painful axillary mass. Thoracoabdominal computed tomography revealed multilocular cystic masses localized in the left axillary space, with minimal invasion of the peripheral soft tissue and no pulmonary or hepatic involvement. An echinococcal indirect hemagglutination test was negative. The masses were dissected through their stalks and removed completely. Macroscopic and microscopic examination of the specimens confirmed hydatid cysts. This case report demonstrates that hydatid cysts should be considered as a possible cause for palpable lesions in the axillary region or chest wall, especially in endemic locations.

Introduction: Post-irradiation mammary stromal sarcoma (MSS) is a rare condition, and it is worth learning new knowledge from each case. Case Presentation: We present the case report of a 59-year-old female with a medical history of breast cancer, who presented with an axillary mass on the same side. The patient was further evaluated and finally diagnosed with MSS with chondroid differentiation. Thereafter, she underwent neoadjuvant chemotherapy to facilitate the surgical resection of the tumor. However, she experienced local progression and lung metastasis during chemotherapy. Conclusions: MSS with chondroid differentiation was resistant to the standard chemotherapy regimens of sarcoma. Radiotherapy is a potential choice in the case of chemoresistant MSS. Further trials may reveal this notion.

We report a case of recurrent mucinous carcinoma of the breast in a 60 year old female who presented with two separate lumps on the left chest wall for 1 year. She gave the history of left sided mastectomy 15 years ago and hysterectomy 10 years ago. The patient did not seek any medical attention for the lumps since she noticed them a year ago. On examination, there were two lumps larger one measuring 7.5 x 5 cm and other smaller one measuring 3 x 2.5 cm. Core needle biopsy showed ductal carcinoma. CT scan was done which showed post-operative status of left side breast cancer with left chest wall mass and metastatic left axillary mass. Ultrasonography of whole abdomen and bony scan was done and no metastasis was seen. She underwent en-bloc excision of the tumor with involved muscle. Histopathology was done from two different centers both revealed Mucinous carcinoma of the breast. She was advised to take adjuvant chemotherapy.
