Nowadays booking tickets and getting inside a railway station is adifficult task. Manual checking becomes a burden and time consuming. Also as everything is getting digitized in this modern world introduce face recognition and Quick Response (QR) code system for entry helps in passenger convenience.Face recognition is a method of identifying or verifying the identity of an individual using their face. Face recognition systems can be used to identify people in photos, video, or in real-time.So this system focuses on passengers’ convenience through allowing them to book tickets online and by introducing face recognition system and QR code system for entry to a railway station.This system helps inidentifying people who try to travel without buying tickets and also helps toapprehend the blacklisted person which increases security in the railway station. Online booking is one of the convenient ways tobook the ticket. This system also provides the convenience to passenger by issuing the digital ticket in the form of QR code thus avoiding any fuss due to the loss of the physical ticket.

Kelas Bersama dosen merupkan salah satu fasilitas yang ada di Universitas Abdurrab Pekanbaru, kelas ini digunakan oleh dosen-dosen yang mengajar mata kuliah teori. Dalam aktifitas yang sedang berjalan sebelum adanya system absensi ini para dosen masih menggunakan absensi tertulis yang mana aktifitas ini tidak efisiean dikarenakan terjadinya antrian jika dalam jam yang sama terdapat jumlah dosen yang mengajar sangat banyak. Oleh karena itu dibuatlah sebuah system absensi dengan Quick Response code atau yang lebih dikenal dengan QR code. System yang di buat akan di integrasikan melalui peraangkat android dosen sehingga dosen tidak perlu mencetak QR code lagi, mereka cukup login pada aplikasi yang sudah terpasang pada perangkat android masing-masing dan aktifitas absensi ini dilakukan pada sebuah ruangan yang dinamakan ruang transit dosen, ruangan ini berfungsi sebagai ruang tunggu dosen, sebelum dose memasuki ruang kelas kuliah. Pada ruang transit dosen disediakan perangkat komputer yang sudah memiliki kamera yang berfungsi untuk membaca QR code pada saat absensi. Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah analisis situasi dan analisis kebtuhan yang mana sebelum membuat aplikasi ini dibutuhkan data berupa aktifitas mengajar dosen dan laporan kehadiran pada setiap perkuliahan.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sistem absensi dengan QR code,dan mengintegrasikan dengan Smartphone Aplikasi tersebut dapat di buat dengan menggunakan teknologi QR Code berbasis Android. Aplikasi yang dibuat diberi nama Absensi PTI. Proses pembuatan aplikasi Absensi PTI menggunakan metode Waterfall atau sering disebut juga model sekuensial linier atau alur hidup klasik. Model air terjun ini menyediakan pendekatan alur hidup perangkat lunak secara sekuensial atau terurut dimulai dari analisis, desain, pengkodean, dan pengujian. Untuk menguji kelayakan aplikasi akan digunakan standar ISO 25010 adalah 4 karakter Functional suitability, Performance efficiency, Portability, dan Usability. Pengujian dilakukan di Institut Pendidikan Indonesia Garut di jurusan Pendidikan Teknologi dan Informasi dengan jumlah mahasiswa 20 orang serta pengujian oleh dosen dan software untuk testing. Hasil dari pengujian aplikasi pada karakteristik Functional Suitability, Performance Efficiency, dan Portability dengan persentasi 100% sehingga dikatakan aplikasi sudah baik. Sedangkan untuk Usability dapat dikatakan bahwa aplikasi sudah layak untuk digunakan dengan persentase lebih dari 70 %. Kata kunci : Absensi; Android; QR code Abstract This study goals for build an attendance QR code system and integrate Smartphones. The application can be made using Android through QR Code technology. The application was created with named PTI Higher educations. The process of making the PTI Higher educations application using the “Waterfall” method or often also called a linear sequential model or classic life flow. This waterfall model provides a sequential software life cycle as a approach starting from analysis, design, coding, and testing. To test the appropriateness of the application will be used for 4 characters Functional suitability on the ISO 25010 standard, through tree indicators : Performance efficiency, Portability, and Usability. The test was conducted at the Garut Indonesia Institute of Education in the Department of Information and Technology Education with a total of 20 students as experiment sample testing. The results of application testing on the characteristics of Functional Suitability, Performance Efficiency, and Portability with a percentage of 100% so that it says the application is good. As for Usability, it can be said that the application is eligible to be used with a percentage of more than 70%. Keywords : Attendance; Android; QR code

The application of QR codes in laboratory management is an increase, but the study of its use in the physics laboratory equipment storage is rarely done. There are numerous in various laboratory equipment stored in the physics laboratory. Well-organized storage with QR-code installment in the cabinet should be a big consideration to assist laboratory users at trace and emplace the equipment in an appropriate. This study aims to develop the application of QR codes in designing the layout of laboratory equipment at the cabinet. The development of the storage layout of laboratory equipment refers to the research and development methods. There are two main focuses in this study, specifically are how to design the layout storage of laboratory equipment and how to develop the QR code scanning system in a physics laboratory. The questionnaire was distributed to 23 respondents, the highest result with 100% agreement shown when they assessed the utility of a QR code-based laboratory storage system and the design of a laboratory equipment layout. The laboratory users give a positive response to the laboratory management system that developed based on QR code. They consider the QR code system is an effective way of trace and emplace the laboratory equipment.

In health care, medication errors can result in serious health risks to patients, and hospitals require a secure medication administration system to prevent such errors. This paper therefore proposes a secure medication administration method based on threshold sharing technology. When a patient visits a doctor and the doctor prescribes n medications, a photo and the personal information of the patient are encoded into n QR code transparencies that can be decoded by common QR code scanners available for smartphones. The prescription and n QR code transparencies are then stored in a hospital’s medication administration system. When the patient receives their medicine, they can scan these n QR code transparencies using a smartphone to ensure that they have all the medicines prescribed by the doctor; this function is accessible even if the patient’s phone does not have Internet access. The main purpose of the proposed system is to prevent hospitals from giving medicine to the wrong patient, or giving less than the prescribed dosage of medicine to the patient. The focus is not on the internal medicine packaging process in hospitals but on reducing the probability of counter staff giving medicine to the wrong patient. This function is of considerable importance to non-English-speaking people who are not used to reading medicine names in English.

Participation of student in reflection shows an important role in improving learning strategies. However, the common reflection practice focuses only on self-reflection and it becomes unauthentic. This innovation therefore attempted to prepare the platform for student’s reflection towards the teaching and learning activities in class using online reflection system. Hence an online reflection system based on QR code was developed to reflect this scenario. The code successfully accesses the system and allow the written reflection. Testing result shows the 100% efficiency of QR code recognition and excellence result for inter-rater reliability analysis by experts respectively.
