Occupational safety is important as it affects the well-being of organizational members and its visitors. This study attempts to investigate the safety awareness among staff of higher learning institutions (HLI) in the Northern part of Malaysia. The objective is to investigate the relationship between office environment, management commitment, staff’s attitudes and organizational policies with safety at the workplace. The data were analyzed using correlation and multiple regressions. The findings indicate there is a significant relationship among the studied variables. The study suggests that it is vital for the management to install and promote a safety culture in the office. In March 2020, the world was first hit by Covid-19 that started to have negative impact on all sectors including education. Most of the higher learning institutions had a shift to use the technology in imparting knowledge and conducting online learning for students. This paper analyzed the effect of attitude, interruption, personal skills and technology skills towards effective online learning. A total of 375 valid questionnaire responses was coded and analyzed using PLS-SEM analysis. The findings showed the attitude and technology skills were significant factors to the barriers of effective online learning among students. As the rapid growth of cities continues to pose a significant threat to the well-being of people, its adverse effects have moved to the forefront of social sustainability. Urban regeneration has become one of the adaptations in solving a social issue. Alongside these interventions, creative placemaking emerges as an evolving field of practice driving a broader agenda for growth and transformation of cities. This paper reviews the concept of creative placemaking as an approach to urban regeneration and theories extracted from planning and urban design literature. The focus of this study is to explore the profile of students who subscribed to MOOCs as a flexible learning option. The study was based on an analysis of the respondent’s profile and demographic data. The findings show that students had signed up for MOOCs in their last semester because they considered it to be a flexible learning option. The study found that there were no significant differences among the users’ demographic data, particularly gender and age. This paper aimed to complete a rigorous, systematic exploration of the literature investigating the effects of psychological factors on the financial well-being in Malaysia context. We identified 13 papers that report empirical evidence on the effect of psychological factors on the financial well-being in Malaysia context. The findings conclude that the studies in financial well-being are focusing on four groups of respondents namely college student, young employees, singles mothers and Muslim individual and the eleven types of psychological variables are identified. This assemblage of reviewed research papers will be useful for the academia and government to cultivate understanding on the psychological rumblings of an individual and leading to greater financial well-being, hence uplifting the quality of life of affected parties.Keywords: Financial well-being; Financial behaviour; Psychological Factors;eISSN: 2398-4287 © 2020. Translating culture formation into behavioural terms helps people to understand how the process works. People learn more from behaviours than from printed statements and company policies. Hence, the objective of this paper is to identify the behavioural factors’ characteristics of safety culture for Malaysian construction companies. The sample for the study was selected from the total population of Grade 7 registered contractors but was limited to only those in the area of Klang Valley. Leadership, organisational commitment, management commitment, safety training and resource allocation were revealed from the questionnaire survey approach as the practices that embedded safety culture into the organisational culture. Urbanisation, a human settlement is growing from a village to a megacity. However, there are few cases of villages, which had been lacking behind in the trend of urbanisation. For instance, Kampong Bharu (New Village) had been maintained as a village setting even though it is located within the boundary of Kuala Lumpur city. A study has been carryout to examine the residents’ well-being of the Kampong Bharu by using a questionnaire survey and statistical analysis. In general, the well-being of villages was within a moderate level. The social and economic developments were contributed to the psychological well-being of residents. The level of hazard identification (HI) determined based on ASDS mean cut off. The risk assessment (RA) and risk control (RC) later translate into PreSiM model. The process of transformation into the matrix table shows promising result in assessing human factors in term hazard, risk and possible RTA control. This scale will enable the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) team to evaluate the level of severity and action needed to prevent further injury. However, caution should be made where human components and occupational performance of drivers may change over time, and the risk controls are yet to be further analyzed. This paper presents the findings of a study on metaphysical approaches to building design. Three major Asian cultures are reviewed. There are similarities found in principles towards achieving the occupants’ well-being. Functionality became priority and rituals are performed at ensuring the well-being and prosperity of future occupants. Whereas, the Chinese-Buddhist practice which is known as Feng Shui, the Indian-Hindu tradition is based on Vastu-Vidya. The Malay-Islam is extractions from religious teachings written in a manuscript called ‘The Tajul Muluk’. The paper concludes that metaphysical approaches could still play its roles in the building design today.2398-4279 © 2016. The Authors. The Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic that strike Malaysia and the rest of the world has given a huge variety of implications especially in the aspect of mental health. Students are no exception in dealing with it. It requires every student to adapt to the new norms that exist in teaching and learning (T&L) system. Thus, this study aims to examine the coping strategies and stress management that can be applied by students in dealing with stress during the pandemic. To achieve this goal a systematic search was conducted, and a simple thematic analysis approach was used to identify the coping strategies among students at higher learning institutions as discussed by previous researchers on similar topics from three search engines on (1) Scopus, (2) Social Science Citation Index (SSCI), and (3) Science Direct from 2015 to 2021 to determine the latest evidence and observations. A literature review of 10 relevant studies was rigorously analysed to get understanding of coping strategies and stress management amongst students at higher learning institutions. The findings show that there are four critical factors in stress management including (1) time management, (2) internet access issues, (2) academic workload and (4) adaptation to new norms. In addition, there are three types of coping strategies that students can do in coping with stress. Research pertaining to these issues are still lacking. This study is seen to be a new platform and guidelines especially for educational institutions to ensure that every student is equipped with stress management skills that can lead to personal well -being.

In this paper, we impart on the notion of happiness and indicate the many beliefs and perspectives of happiness. The theory and concept of happiness are variously defined and interpreted by separate groups. It relates greatly to human’s emotions thus influential in affecting the people’s well-being. Most scholars often felt that happiness relates to wealth and health. Inevitably, the sentiment of happiness can be inspired by the surrounding environment and neighbourhood, facilities, family relationship, community and friends, and so forth.
