Development of a proper supply chain management system to manage the food distribution network to achieve food security is one of the major challenges confronting the world today. India and China, two major economy of the world face the challenge and pressure to feed over half of the total world population. Although, our country India has achieved self-sufficiency in food grain production and surplus food stocks are available in the FCI godowns across the country, but due to inefficiencies of operation and entrepreneurial abilities, majority of beneficiaries of the resources invested by them are not targeted to the correct population. The availability of such food to people who have challenges on social and economic front should get benefit of physical access is the key of any distribution system. Therefore a strong supply chain policy for the distribution of such food in various parts of country, a proper plan for optimal distribution of the procured food grains among such population is required. Any failure in any of the channel of this system procurement-transportation-warehousing-transportation-distribution system can lead to large scale famine in the effected region of country. Therefore, it is very important to maintain entire supply chain from farmers to the beneficiary is managed in an integrated manner.

The challenges presented by recent changes in the business environment have sharpened the focus on the need for robust approaches to supply chain improvement. For most companies around the world, resources have been reduced, inventory drained, technology spending curtailed, and core processes scaled back in order to adjust to the current reality of reduced demand. So, this paper mainly concentrates on giving some tips based on recession recovery strategies. Firstly, this paper discussed the supply chain management trends in and up to 2015, then general concept of recession and the relation between recession and supply chain management system, then some fatal mistakes of recession recovery according to the supply chain experts and recession and recovery related literature reviews are summarized to identify ultimately the recession recovery strategies for the manufacturer. The paper ended with some supply chain management related predictions, tips for reducing supply chain barriers. Moreover, a brief section of this paper also here highlights the supply-chain infrastructure helpful for recession recovery that is one of the important factors for the reason of cost-reduction, resource planning and maintenance etc. in today's supply chain management and related environment.

This paper introduces a mature and complete design idea and function structure of B2B E-commerce supply chain management system based on intermediary, wherein the system is mainly based on the front end E-commerce trading system and the back end business support system, and can be simultaneously integrated with such systems of external partners as logistics distribution system, online payment system, SCM system, and ERP system. The system has solved the problem of information disjunction between the upper and downstream enterprises in conventional supply chain management, and realized efficient, reliable and flexible integrated application of every module within the entire e-commerce supply chain management system.

The presented study addresses the current problems in the implementation of the distributed ledger (blockchain) technology in supply chain management mechanisms in the context of the digital economy. Aim. The study aims to analyze the application of the blockchain technology in modern economic processes from the perspective of logistics.Tasks. The authors consider the possibility of using the blockchain technology in the supply chain management system and explore ways to use the findings of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in the fieldof digital economy to organize information standardization processes within the supply chains of foreign and mutual trade.Methods. This study uses general scientific methods of cognition to examine approaches to the implementation of the blockchain technology in transport and logistics processes and to find opportunities for the implementation of smart contracts to ensure the traceability of the entire chain of commodity and information fl ws.Results. Implementation of the distributed ledger (blockchain) technology in the logistics processes of foreign and mutual trade increases the transparency of information fl ws and the speed of decisionmaking. This technology would allow the parties to negotiate directly, minimizing potential risks and the time required to approve a supply deal.Conclusions. The authors consider the possibility of using a systematic approach to the digitalization of transport and logistics processes and the subsequent standardization of information interaction at the B2B, B2G, and G2G levels, segmented by separate fields of transport and foreign trade and individual economic sectors. As a conclusion, the study assesses the prospects of the practical implementation of blockchain mechanisms in the creation of industrial platforms — digital platforms that provide integrated services for businesses and the government using a single window system.
