Static analysis of the stress-strain state of a plate on elastic foundation is made in two ways on the example of a reinforced concrete road plate 2PP30.18-30 series B3.503.1-1 intended for temporary roads. These plates are considered as a planar structure on an elastic foundation. The plates are calculated by the method of B.N. Zhemochkin using the Ritz method to determine plate deflections in the main system using the mathematical package «MathCad». Also the plates are calculated on the PC «LIRA». There are given the results of experimental and numerical studies in this article

The dynamic behavior of functionally graded (FG) sandwich beams resting on the Pasternak elastic foundation under an arbitrary number of harmonic moving loads is presented by using Timoshenko beam theory, including the significant effects of shear deformation and rotary inertia. The equation of motion governing the dynamic response of the beams is derived from Lagrange’s equations. The Ritz and Newmark methods are implemented to solve the equation of motion for obtaining free and forced vibration results of the beams with different boundary conditions. The influences of several parametric studies such as layer thickness ratio, boundary condition, spring constants, length to height ratio, velocity, excitation frequency, phase angle, etc., on the dynamic response of the beams are examined and discussed in detail. According to the present investigation, it is revealed that with an increase of the velocity of the moving loads, the dynamic deflection initially increases with fluctuations and then drops considerably after reaching the peak value at the critical velocity. Moreover, the distance between the loads is also one of the important parameters that affect the beams’ deflection results under a number of moving loads.

The paper presents the extension of an edge-based smoothed finite element method using three-node triangular elements for dynamic analysis of the functionally graded porous (FGP) plates subjected to moving loads resting on the elastic foundation taking into mass (EFTIM). In this study, the edge-based smoothed technique is integrated with the mixed interpolation of the tensorial component technique for the three-node triangular element (MITC3) to give so-called ES-MITC3, which helps improve significantly the accuracy for the standard MITC3 element. The EFTIM model is formed by adding a mass parameter of foundation into the Winkler–Pasternak foundation model. Two parameters of the FGP materials, the power-law index (k) and the maximum porosity distributions (Ω), take forms of cosine functions. Some numerical results of the proposed method are compared with those of published works to verify the accuracy and reliability. Furthermore, the effects of geometric parameters and materials on forced vibration of the FGP plates resting on the EFTIM are also studied in detail.
