The mining industry exists because humans need mining commodities to meet their daily needs such as motor vehicles, mobile phones, electronic equipment and others. Mining commodities as mentioned in Government Regulation No. 23 of 2010 on Implementation of Mineral and Coal Mining Business Activities are radioactive minerals, metal minerals, nonmetallic minerals, rocks and coal. Mineral and coal mining is conducted to obtain the mining commodities through production operations. Mining and coal mining companies have an obligation to ensure that the mining environment in particular after the post production operation or post mining continues. The survey research aims to examine technically the post-mining plan in coal mining of PT Samantaka Batubara in Indragiri Hulu Regency of Riau Province towards the sustainability of the mining environment. The results indicate that the post-mining plan of PT Samantaka Batubara has met the technical aspects required in post mining planning for a sustainable mining environment. Postponement of post-mining land of PT Samantaka Batubara for garden and forest zone. The results of this study are expected to be useful and can be used by stakeholders, academics, researchers, practitioners and associations of mining, and the environment.

Time and information are without doubt two key factors for successful coal mine emergency management. The advancement of information technology has brought new opportunities to improve coal mine safety. In this paper, a mobile coal mining safety monitoring system is introduced. The objective of the system is to help coal mine official acquire the real production environment data influencing mine safety in time anywhere and anytime thus be capable of responding to the matters arising immediately. The architecture of the system is proposed and it contains three layers including data acquisition layer, server application layer, and mobile client layer. Then, the system implementation details are elaborated. A use scenario is taken to demonstrate how the system can help safety official and relevant staff of the coal mine to respond to the changing mine production situation quickly and make time-critical decisions.

The automatic monitoring system for coal mining subsidence is introduced from the main research contents, composition of system, construction of system, etc. in this paper. The system is based on GNSS CORS technology, GIS technology, computer network communication technology, mobile PDA technology, modern measurement data processing technology. It takes GNSS reference station subsystem, GNSS CORS monitoring station subsystem, data monitoring center subsystem, subsystem of real-time data acquisition terminal and subsystem of communication as core modules. Equipment monitoring, data collecting and transmitting, data processing and analyzing ,subsidence predicting and early warning, mining damage evaluating are built up into a automatic monitoring system for coal mining subsidence. This system can provide decision-making basis for mine safety mining and geological environmental governance.

In the production of coal, once an mine accident happens, timely monitoring and management are need, in order to ensure communication and rescue work. Using remote video monitoring system, ground or central monitoring personnel can conduct current-time underground monitoring, and can find potential accidents before they occur; in addition, personnel can monitor and record intuitively the safety production in underground work site . This paper begins with an overview of the coal mining enterprise remote video monitoring requirements, discusses the overall design, modules formation and implementation of Internet-based remote video monitoring system of coal mining enterprises programs, and finally presents the development and application of Internet-based remote video monitoring system of coal mining enterprises.
