In order to achieve significant improvements in the evaluation of key indicators such as speed, quality, cost, and service, this paper fundamentally rethinks and completely redesigns the business process, and recreates a new business process. This study combines the particularity of AMI with emergency nursing to construct an in-hospital AMI emergency nursing process to further standardize the AMI rescue work. The implementation of the process helps to clarify the responsibilities and requirements of nurses in the AMI emergency process, reduce the delay time of AMI emergency, and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of emergency. In addition, after refactoring the business process, this paper builds an intelligent digital critical illness monitoring system. This system combines the original work flow of the ICU medical staff, optimizes the work flow of the medical staff through computer technology and information technology, and designs and completes the digital intensive nursing system software to run and use in the hospital and obtain significant results.

Abstract After significant earthquakes, we can see images posted on social media platforms by individuals and media agencies owing to the mass usage of smartphones these days. These images can be utilized to provide information about the shaking damage in the earthquake region both to the public and research community, and potentially to guide rescue work. This paper presents an automated way to extract the damaged building images after earthquakes from social media platforms such as Twitter and thus identify the particular user posts containing such images. Using transfer learning and ~6500 manually labelled images, we trained a deep learning model to recognize images with damaged buildings in the scene. The trained model achieved good performance when tested on newly acquired images of earthquakes at different locations and ran in near real-time on Twitter feed after the 2020 M7.0 earthquake in Turkey. Furthermore, to better understand how the model makes decisions, we also implemented the Grad-CAM method to visualize the important locations on the images that facilitate the decision.

The stability analysis of damaged landslides and unstable debris is important for rescue work and emergency operations. This paper investigates a predisposed geological emergence, inducing the factors and deformation processes of the Zhongbao landslide, which happened on July 25, 2020. The stability of the landslide debris was evaluated by an integrated monitoring system consisting of ground-based radar, unmanned aerial vehicles, airborne Lidar, thermal infrared temperature monitoring, GNSS displacement monitoring, deep displacement monitoring, and rainfall monitoring. The strata and weak layer controlled the landslide failure, and topography defined the boundary of the failed rock mass. A continually intensive rainfall caused the deformation and accelerated failure of the landslide. The shallow and steep deposit (Part I) firstly slid at a high velocity, and then pushed the rear part of the landslide (Part II) to deform, forming numerous cracks, which accelerated the rainfall infiltrating into the rock mass. The moisture content increase could decrease the strength of the shale rock within the bedding planes. Finally, with the rock and soil mass sliding along the weak layer, a barrier dam and a barrier lake were formed. The monitoring and numerical simulation results showed that after the landslide failure, there was still local collapse and deformation occurrences which threatened rescue work and barrier lake excavation, and the stability of the accumulation area gradually decreased as the rainfall increased. Therefore, the barrier dam was not excavated until the accumulation rate gradually stabilized on July 28. Moreover, most of the reactivated deposits still accumulated in the transportation and source areas. Thus, in August, the displacement of the landslide debris gradually accelerated in a stepwise manner, and responded strongly to rainfall, especially in the accumulation area, so that it was inferred that the damaged landslide could slide again and cause a more threatening and severe failure. The analysis results of the study area can provide references for the failure mechanism of a rainfall-induced landslide and the stability evaluation of a damaged landslide.

Abstract By decomposing the coal mine emergency rescue organization and coal mine emergency rescue work, the synergy entropy function is constructed by combining the synergy class with the entropy theory, and the synergy efficiency assessment model of coal mine emergency rescue is established. Analyze the synergistic relationship between departments in the rescue organization and between departments and functional units, construct the synergistic influence matrix, and obtain the synergistic status of the coal mine emergency rescue system by calculating the synergistic entropy, synergistic efficiency and synergistic degree. The quantitative analysis of the emergency rescue system in coal mines is achieved by analyzing the situation of the rescue work in coal mines and evaluating the rescue organizations at each tier based on the established evaluation model.

This tense period held the pair together almost solely through letters. Bryher was in full-tilt rescue work, passing from New York to London, Paris, and Switzerland annually. In New York, Bryher met Nella Larsen and visited Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Sylvia Beach and Adrienne Monnier introduced Bryher to Walter Benjamin, who exchanged his Berlin around 1900 for her Paris 1900. Bryher sent funds and encouragement while he was interned as an enemy alien. H.D. underwent her personal terror, facing the courts when Aldington resurfaced for a divorce. Bryher coached her in preparation. After the Anschluss, Bryher carried rat poison when traveling (as she had in World War I) and leaked her fears to the Austrian psychoanalyst Walter Schmideberg and to the couple’s new scholar friend at Yale, Norman Pearson, who would soon join the Office of Strategic Services, precursor to the CIA. He shared Bryher’s anxieties and a desire to foster H.D.’s hypersensitive creative intelligence.

Earthquakes occur frequently in the 21st century and cause a large number of casualties; induced secondary geological disasters will cause more serious casualties. How to reasonably deal with the earthquake disaster to carry out emergency rescue work is becoming increasingly urgent; the ability level of earthquake disaster emergency rescue personnel is directly related to the follow-up relief effect. Based on this, aiming at the emergency rescue ability of nationalized railway management talents in high-intensity earthquake areas around the world, this paper will use the methods of analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy theory to construct an intelligent evaluation model of railway international earthquake emergency rescue personnel ability. In addition, this paper carries out a questionnaire survey of experts in related fields and model empirical research and puts forward optimization measures and suggestions for the personnel training of railway international earthquake emergency rescue in high-intensity seismic areas based on the results of model evaluation.

No comprehensive assessment of the populations of big cats in federally regulated facilities in the United States is currently available. Concerns about big cat use are increasingly of strong public interest and the lack of data about their number and distribution has ramifications impacting zoological industry function, conservation programs, rescue work, and legislation. In this work a dataset has been compiled using publicly available USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) records and direct information requests. The resulting census was derived from the animal inventories listed on inspection records for all 2272 facilities with animal exhibition licenses. The total number of big cats in federally regulated facilities is on the order of 4100 animals and appears to be declining.

Rapid detection of causes of mining accidents leading to emergencies is to search the efforts. Controlling fires and gas leaks provides an immediate approach to rescue work for fatalities or injuries and detecting who needs resuscitation outside the mine. Evacuation and recovery operations should be guided by continuous monitoring of the mine environment due to fire and explosion hazards. The main toxic gases in mines are carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2); flammable gases are methane (CH4), CO and hydrogen (H2); suffocating gases are CO2, nitrogen (N20) and CH4; and the toxic gases are CO, nitrogen oxides (NOx) and hydrogen sulfide (H 2 S).

Hydrogen fluoride (HF) is a typical dangerous gas in the fluorine chemical industry. Its leakage is one of the most common types of accidents in this industry, and it poses a serious threat to personnel safety and health, environmental sanitation, and social stability. In this paper, the process and consequences of an HF leakage accident in a fluorine chemical plant were simulated by using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation software, and hazardous areas (lethal area, severe injury area, light injury area, and maximum allowable concentration area) of HF diffusion were determined according to the HF concentration corresponding to the degree of personal injury. Moreover, the effects of wind speed and height on hazardous areas were analyzed. The research results of this paper provide model support for similar enterprises to predict the consequences of harmful gas leakage accidents, and give suggestions on emergency evacuation and rescue work, which have practical application significance.
