In this paper, we introduce the concept of a modified F-contraction via ?-admissible mappings and propose some theorems that guarantee the existence and uniqueness of fixed point for such mappings in the frame of complete metric spaces. We also provide some illustrative examples. Moreover, we consider an application solving an integral equation.

In this paper, using rational type contractive conditions, the existence and uniqueness of common coupled fixed point theorem in the set up of Gb-metric spaces is studied. The derived result cover and generalize some well-known comparable results in the existing literature. Then we use the derived results to prove the existence and uniqueness solution for some classes of integral equations. Further more, an example of such type of integral equation is presented.

Using some of the extended fixed point results for Geraghty contractions in b-metric spaces given by Faraji, Savić and Radenović and their idea to apply these results to nonlinear integral equations, in this paper we present some existence and uniqueness conditions for the solution of a nonlinear Fredholm–Volterra integral equation with a modified argument.

We introduce the notion of cyclic generalized ?-contractive mappings in b-metric spaces and discuss the existence and uniqueness of fixed points for such mappings. Our results generalize many existing fixed point theorems in the literature. Examples are given to support the usability of our results. Finally, an application to existence problem for an integral equation is presented.

We observe that the assumption of set-valued F-contractions (Sgroi and Vetro [13]) is actually very strong for the existence of fixed point and can be weakened. In this connection, we introduce the notion of set-valued ?-F-contractions and prove a corresponding fixed point theorem in complete metric spaces. Consequently, we derive several fixed point theorems in metric spaces. Some examples are given to illustrate the new theory. Then we apply our results to establishing the existence and uniqueness of solutions for a certain type of non-linear integral equations.

In this paper, we provide some generalizations of the Darbo's fixed point theorem and further develop the notion of $F$-contraction introduced by Wardowski in (\cite{wad}, D. Wardowski, \emph{Fixed points of a new type of contractive mappings in complete metric spaces,} Fixed Point Theory and Appl., 94, (2012)). To achieve this, we introduce the notion of Darbo-type $F$-contraction, cyclic $(\alpha,\beta)$-admissible operator and we also establish some fixed point and common fixed point results for this class of mappings in the framework of Banach spaces. In addition, we apply our fixed point results to establish the existence of solution to a Volterra type integral equation.

In this paper, we have established and proved fixed point theorems for the Boyd-Wong-type contraction in metric spaces. In particular, we have generalized the existing results for a pair of mappings that possess a fixed point but not continuous at the fixed point. We can apply this result for both continuous and discontinuous mappings. We have concluded our results by providing an illustrative example for each case and an application to the existence and uniqueness of a solution of nonlinear Volterra integral equations.

The objective of this paper is to present a new notion of a tripled fixed point (TFP) findings by virtue of a control function in the framework of fuzzy cone metric spaces (FCM-spaces). This function is a continuous one-to-one self-map that is subsequentially convergent (SC) in FCM-spaces. Moreover, by using the triangular property of a FCM, some unique TFP results are shown under modified contractive-type conditions. Additionally, two examples are discussed to uplift our work. Ultimately, to examine and support the theoretical results, the existence and uniqueness solution to a system of Volterra integral equations (VIEs) are obtained.

Wardowski [Fixed Point Theory Appl., 2012:94] introduced a new concept of contraction and proved a fixed point theorem which generalizes Banach contraction principle. Following this direction of research, we will present some fixed point results for closed multi-valued F-contractions or multi-valued mappings which satisfy an F-contractive condition of Hardy-Rogers-type, in the setting of complete metric spaces or complete ordered metric spaces. An example and two applications, for the solution of certain functional and integral equations, are given to illustrate the usability of the obtained results.

Two fixed-point theorems for α-admissible mappings satisfying contractive inequality of integral type with w-distance in complete metric spaces are proved. Our results extend and improve a few existing results in the literature. As applications, we use the fixed-point theorems obtained in this paper to establish solvability of nonlinear integral equations. Examples are included.
