Abstract The paper presents the verification of a solution to the narrow sound frequency range problem of flat reflective panels. The analytical, numerical and experimental studies concerned flat panels, panels with curved edges and also semicircular elements. There were compared the characteristics of sound reflected from the studied elements in order to verify which panel will provide effective sound reflection and also scattering in the required band of higher frequencies, i.e. above the upper limit frequency. Based on the conducted analyzes, it was found that among some presented solutions to narrow sound frequency range problem, the array composed of panels with curved edges is the most preferred one. Nevertheless, its reflection characteristic does not meet all of the requirements, therefore, it is necessary to search for another solution of canopy which is effective over a wide frequency range.

The results of experimental studies of vibration activity of a vibration-insulating ball-type clutch installed on a shaft line are presented. These studies were made on the test stand. It is shown that, depending on the value of the shaft line fracture, the vibration activity of the ball-type clutch can increase in a wide frequency range up to 30 dB. The diagnostic features of the ball-type clutch which allow estimating its vibration activity have been identified on the basis of the analysis of experimental data.

Приводятся результаты экспериментальных исследованийпомехозащищенности цепей многопарных LAN-кабелей вдиапазоне частот до 100 МГц Показано, что разработанный комплекс мероприятий по технологии скрутки кабельного сердечника, наложению на него экрана и защитной полимерной оболочки позволяет обеспечить выполнение норм на электрические характеристики помехозащищенности цепей кабеля, отвечающих требованиям категории 5е. The results of experimental studies of noise immunity of multipair LAN-cable circuits in the frequency range up to 100 MHz are presented. It is shown that the developed set of measures for the technology of twisting the cable core and applying a screen and a protective polymer sheath on it made it possible to ensure compliance with the standards for the electrical characteristics of noise immunity of cable circuits that meet the requirements of category 5e.
