This study identifies the potential of tourism products in Sukajadi Village Bogor Regency based on ten (10) tourism components as well as its development strategy, which is currently included in the category of a newly developing tourist village. The results of this research are aggressive and serious development strategies in all aspects of the tourism component, namely increasing the quality and diversification of tourist attractions and activities, accessibility, improving the quality and quantity of tourism amenities, improving the quality of human resources & institutions, community support, land use, tourism industry cooperation, as well as marketing aspects. This research type is a descriptive qualitative with a case study exploratory approach. Primary data is obtained from direct observation and interviews with key informants, namely Pokdarwis and the Village Head, while secondary data is the result of literature studies and research documentation. The analysis technique of this research uses SWOT analysis and Matrix, analysis of the work program of the vision for tourism development of the Bogor Regency Government which refers to local government master plan for tourism development (RIPPARDA), and also analysis of the Cleanlines, Health, Safety and Environmental Sustainability (CHSE) guidelines.

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze Mandeh tourism development strategy and to formulate Development Alternatives using FGD (Focus Group Discussion) and AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process). The type of this study is Mixed Method which is research that combines or integrates qualitative and quantitative Method to be used together in research activities in order to obtain more comprehensive, valid, reliable, and objective data. However, in this study is more weighted on qualitative research and quantitative data to support qualitative research. So, based on the results of FGD and AHP there are four main priorities strategy in dealing MEA: 1) tourism development of art, culture and religion, 2) tourism product’s development of natural wonder, 3) development of underwater tourism, 4) providing socialization to meet MEA.

The Municipality of Pakostane is well known for the immense beauty of its landscapes and the manifold features of its natural environment. This is where the Nature Park of Lake Vransko can be found, together with the island of Vrgada, the gateway to the Kornati Islands. The towns of Pakostane and Drage are the tourism gems of the Municipality. Unfortunately throughout its tourism development, the Municipality has failed to fully valorize its competitive advantages. The Club Mediterranne is regarded as the initiator and generator of change. Scenic spots alone can no longer sufficiently motivate tourist arrivals. What is needed is a concrete development strategy, based on innovated marketing, which will help to form a new tourist product and a recognisable identity. In creating a year-round offer, it is essential to activate all possibilities of tourism development through new elements of the offer. With improved transport routes (newly constructed motorway) and a new tourism policy, Pakostane could become the tourist hit of Dalmatia.

-National parks and other categories of protected areas are often assumed to enhance regional economic development due to park tourism. The current study attempts to estimate the impact of the Hohe Tauern national park (Austria) on tourism by exploring whether and to what extent the national park may have had an influence on tourism development. For most national park communities, the results suggest that the establishment of the national park had some impact by enforcing an already positive trend or by weakening or reversing a negative trend of tourism. However, breakpoint tests exhibit turning points up to several years after the establishment of the park, indicating that taking a national park as the basis for tourism development is a medium to long term development strategy. In the short term, the impact of a national park on tourism is not measurable. Tourism increased by 1 to 3% annually after the breakpoint, indicating that the establishment of a national park has to be incorporated into the tourism and development strategy of a region right from the start. The causal relationship between the establishment of the national park and tourism development may be weak, in particular in communities where the difference between the actual and the forecast numbers of overnight stays is small. AbstractTourist activity in the Republic of Croatia is one of the leading and most promising activities. It is our past, present and future. According to the National Bank, the share of revenues from travel - tourism in overall GDP in the first 9 months of 2015 was 22.2%, an increase of 1.2% compared to the same period in 2014. In the third quarter share of revenues from travel - tourism in total GDP amounted to 41.3%, as compared to the same period in 2014, representing a growth of 1.4%. The conclusion is that tourism is one of the leading economic sectors in the Republic of Croatia. Due to realized 78 million and 569,000 overnight stays (6.8% more than in 2014) and more than 8 billion of foreign exchange inflows, the Republic of Croatia on the overall tourism market has been recognized as an important destination whose development potentials have not yet been exhausted. Relevant institutions and predictions underline the fact that tourism is one of the keys for faster integration of Croatia in the entire world economy and the networked society, from which it can be read that Croatia must view this sector in a new way and allow tourism to undergo complete transformation, in order to cope with future competitive challenges more easily. According to estimates by the World Travel & Tourism Council direct and indirect employment in the tourism sector in 2008 was about 300,000 employees, but that number will have increased by additional 100,000 in the next ten years. The Croatian tourism today employs 35-40% of workers. Thus, the tourism industry is a comprehensive and a very important generator of jobs of different profiles - from catering and hotel industry to entertainment and animation. In the light of progress in the development of tourism, and regardless of specific personnel, Croatia still needs a lot of work on the construction of the existing profile of tourism personnel and management and educate the tourist interest in tourism future. In addition, employment in the hospitality and tourism industry has a very high seasonal fluctuation of work, while the proportion of highly educated so-called senior managers is weak due to the contemporary needs of the tourism of the 21st century. The system of education for tourism is not performed well at all levels of education, and the result is inadequate qualifications. On the other hand, salaries of employees in the tourism industry, especially in the hospitality and catering industry, are among the lowest in the Republic of Croatia. With its tourism development strategy, the Republic of Croatia has turned towards building quality destinations (new facilities, renovation of existing and quality services). This paper will analyze how the quality of services, backed by human activity, is the key to the success of any enterprise, with an adopted conclusion about what kind of future we are building in this segment. The research will be carried out through the review and analysis of trends in employment in the tourism industry, the qualifying term structure of employees, their share in the total employees in the Republic of Croatia, the competitiveness in the international labor market for a period of last 5 years.
