Street lightings are used in public area to support people activities throughout the night. Maintenance activities are needed to keep the availability of street lights. The advanced of technologies give ideas to create such tools to support the maintenance. Monitoring and controlling tools are proposed to maintain the availability of street lightings. This paper describes a design of web-based remote monitoring software of street lighting. The street lights should be equipped with GPRS module in transmitting data to the software. This research follows three steps: literature review, analysis, and design. The design tools such as BPMN, use case, ERD, and mockup are used to describe the system. The software can be used to monitor the street lights in the widespread area without having to come to the location.

The role of money changers is very important in meeting the needs of foreign exchange for the community. This role can also be fulfilled by banks and other financial institutions. People who want to order foreign currencies at this time still have to go through traditional procedures, where the buyer is required to come directly to the place of foreign exchange. This study intends to build a system design that can make currency orders and provide information on foreign exchange rates contained in each money changer through a web-based application. This research uses the Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) method, literature study, and data collection methods using a questionnaire. Based on the problems outlined and the results of the study, this system can be a source of information on foreign exchange rates and also an alternative order for foreign exchange. Foreign exchange orders can be made online through this information system. This system will continue to be developed with various features such as payment methods using biometric security methods with the support of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. So users can search for foreign currency values and order them easily through online media.

At present the application layer in the network data transmission and expression of the most widely used protocol is Http protocol, embedded devices through the Internet network remote monitoring of data transmission direction to one of the main focus in the Web server for embedded systems. Embedded web server to achieve this, no operating system support, embedded system itself Common Gateway Interface, to complete web page publishing, the most important is the use of embedded devices that can be used as remote monitoring software system.The key equipment for the motor system for remote network monitoring, this paper describes the design of the specific structure of web servers and for system implementation and realization of the key technologies used to give a detailed exposition, in the end PC to run on the results of the test.

From the perspective of system integration, this paper introduces how to apply the Web network technology to the long-distance supervisory system. It is discussed about the implementation plan and software design to form a web-based remote monitoring system. The software design of the entire supervisory system includes the local and the remote monitoring software design. The author analyzes the design purposes, the contents, the methods and the characteristics of these two kinds of softwares. This article studies the working process of web-based long-distance supervisory system. Related questions and the solution measures in the design of the system are also covered.

Effective temperature control plays a key role in remote monitoring of wood drying. This paper analysis and design a fuzzy PID control strategy under the monitoring and control system by establishing the mathematical model of wood drying system. It can realize the remote communication by using RS485 and achieve the actual operation of the monitoring system control. By experimental data and the experimental curve, the temperature of the system has good tracking effect which can be verified. It can achieve effective remote monitoring.
