Legal judgment elements extraction (LJEE) aims to identify the different judgment features from the fact description in legal documents automatically, which helps to improve the accuracy and interpretability of the judgment results. In real court rulings, judges usually need to scan both the fact descriptions and the law articles repeatedly to find out the relevant information, and it is hard to acquire the key judgment features quickly, so legal judgment elements extraction is a crucial and challenging task for legal judgment prediction. However, most existing methods follow the text classification framework, which fails to model the attentive relations of the law articles and the legal judgment elements. To address this issue, we simulate the working process of human judges, and propose a legal judgment elements extraction method with a law article-aware mechanism, which captures the complex semantic correlations of the law article and the legal judgment elements. Experimental results show that our proposed method achieves significant improvements than other state-of-the-art baselines on the element recognition task dataset. Compared with the BERT-CNN model, the proposed “All labels Law Articles Embedding Model (ALEM)” improves the accuracy, recall, and F1 value by 0.5, 1.4 and 1.0, respectively.

Purpose. The choice of the geometric dimensions ratios of system of matrix poles of electromagnetic polygradient separator to increase productivity with maintaining the reliability of extracting of ferromagnetic impurities from bulk material.Methodology. To solve the dynamic problem of motion of a ferromagnetic body in the working gap of pole system of matrix of polygradient separator under the influence of an external magnetic field the known methods of solving linear inhomogeneous differential equations are used. To confirm the reliability of obtained results the method of experimental research is used.Findings. The formulation of dynamic problem of movement of ferromagnetic body in the working gap of plate pole system of matrix of polygradient separator is carried out. Parametric equation for the trajectory of ferromagnetic body removal and a calculated relation connecting the main geometric dimensions of the system of matrix poles are obtained. The calculation results are confirmed experimentally and by operating practice of known magnetic separating devices.Originality. The mathematical description of working process of a polygradient electromagnetic separator with a plate matrix was further developed, which made it possible to obtain an analytical expression that takes into account the main geometric dimensions of the working space of matrix of separator.Practical value. Accounting of obtained analytical dependences between the length of separation zone and air gap, which characterizes the thickness of the separated material layer through which the ferromagnetic body must pass during the separation process, will ensure the necessary purity and productivity of separation.

Introduction (problem statement and relevance). This article provides up-to-date information analysis of the crankcase gases bypass effect from the crankcase ventilation system to the compression ignition engine intake. The paper considers the information on the variants of the crankcase ventilation systems of modern engines. The article reveals the necessity to analyze the engine working process at the design and development stage of a closed crankcase ventilation system. The legislative requirements for the implementation of the ventilation system to ensure safe environmental performance have been indicated. The purpose of the study was to assess both open and closed ventilation system effect on the crankcase space indicators, in particular, on the average specific fuel consumption, with reference to a high-performance automobile engine with compression ignition.Methodology and research methods. Theoretical and computational studies were carried out with the help of mathematical statistics and thermodynamics methods in a one-dimensional setting. The verification of the calculations reliability was carried out by comparing the simulation data and the results the internal combustion engine experimental studies.Scientific novelty and results. A thermodynamic model of a high-performance automobile engine compression ignition V8 CHN 12/13 with an open and closed ventilation system of the crankcase space has been developed. The model made it possible to evaluate the effect of crankcase gases bypass back to the engine cylinder intake.Practical significance. The developed thermodynamic models confirmed the insignificant effect on the working process of the V8 CHN 12/13 engine by bypassing crankcase gases back to the cylinder inlet.

When a work system is considered we must focus on people that are part of the system as an active agent that can participate and interact all along the working process. In this process, stress contributes to increasing the probability of diseases and accidents. Therefore, one of the main objectives, from a preventive perspective, is to reduce stress levels. Related to this, the characteristics of healthy organizations will be described as a model to promote health. The objective of this chapter is to offer a broad and multidisciplinary perspective of prevention risk in the workplace centered in the worker, taking the view of neuroscience and health psychology. For that purpose, stress interventions in the organizations and in the individuals will be outlined. Finally, this chapter would finish proposing a preventive intervention to improve healthier work environments, taking into account neurosciences and health psychology. This proposal will be based on improving lifestyle, education for health, and self-respect.

The development of an ecotourism area needs local residents' involvement for the proper management integrating with the conditions of local wisdom, and also empowers the community. Bangka Island, located in South Sumatra, Indonesia, is used as an alternative post-mining area for the tourism sector and acts as an interesting locus to assess the level of community empowerment. This study aims to trace the working process of the empowerment dimension in the development of ecotourism in Bangka Island. The quantitative descriptive method was used to collect data from 260 respondents spread across various districts/cities in Bangka Island. The result showed that the level of empowerment in Bangka Island is still very limited, tends to be elitist, and lacks economic benefits. However, interestingly, the community supports future development despite not being certain of their involvement in the process. This study also reveals that empowerment is still pseudo in this community, which means that it has not touched all aspects of the essence of empowerment due to a sense of pride in their region's popularity.

Modeling the threshing and separation process involves the application of a method of description, analysis and analytical determination of system performance: threshing apparatus - working process. The modeling of the process of separating the seeds passing through an axial flow threshing device was performed taking into account that the separation function ss(x) is given depending on the length of the threshing apparatus. Then, models were made to describe the variation of the percentage (cumulative) of separated seeds ss (x=L), corresponding to the modification of the threshing apparatus functional parameters (depending on the peripheral speed of the rotor, the flow of straw parts and the moisture of straw parts).

The paper presents theoretical research conducted for the optimization of the working process of variable width ploughs. Thus, were determined multivariable regression functions for the traction force of the plough with variable working function of the control parameters: working depth, working width and working speed. The use of these theoretical considerations of the optimal points sought lead to the opportunity of making assessments on the possibilities to conduct their experimental validation. Conditions for an experimental plan were formulated to highlight such optimal points and the theoretical results were validated through experiments.

Simulation of the working process of an internal combustion engine is the basis for all further calculations and studies of the engine. Of particular relevance is the availability of an adequate mathematical model of the engine process due to the fact that due to the trend of continuous improvement of engine performance, it is necessary to take into account many influencing factors to obtain a satisfactory result. The most complex and dependent on many physicochemical parameters is the process of combustion of fuel in the engine. Models of combustion in diesel engines can be divided into three groups: detailed models; empirical and semipemirical models. The analysis of world experience in research and mathematical modeling of combustion process in internal combustion engines is performed in the work. The advantages and disadvantages of different mathematical models are indicated. It is proposed to use a semi-empirical mathematical model of combustion which describes the differential characteristic of the combustion rate by two curves corresponding to the periods of the first flash and diffusion combustion. Use of such model simplifies performance of calculations and at the same time allows to receive qualitative results considering many factors of influence.

Programming is becoming a part of the school curricula in Norway both in lower and upper secondary education – this includes subjects such as art, design and craft. What can programming contribute to the learning processes of these subjects? ‘Tinkering’ is a creative phase in a learning/working process, emphasising both creation and learning. In this project, visual images are created via computer programming to enhance the main author’s learning. The process is structured into stages. The important phases of the learning process are realised as a result of tinkering with existing codes. An important discovery for the learner, and one key aspect of programming images is that, as a mode, it opens up ways to create repetitions effectively, resulting in various patterns. This turned out to be motivating for the learner. This paper discusses tinkering as a learning process that is relevant to programming within art, design and craft education.

Для рентабельности отрасли табаководства необходимо наличие сортимента сортов табака. Почвенно-климатические зоны Крыма пригодны для возделывания как ценного ароматичного, так и скелетного табачного сырья. Целью данной работы являлось изучение созданных гибридных комбинаций табака старших поколений для выявления перспективы их дальнейшего использования. Селекционерами Института «Магарач» создан ряд перспективных сортов и гибридных комбинаций старших поколений - предшественников сортов табака. В данной работе приведены результаты оценки шести гибридных комбинаций старших поколений, а также перспективного сорта Дюбек Предгорный по основным хозяйственно-ценным признакам. Стандартом служили сорта Американ 14, Американ 307 и Дюбек новый. Работа велась на опытном участке, расположенном в Предгорной зоне Крыма, в течение трех лет. В процессе работы проводились фенологические наблюдения, оценка сортов по показателям продуктивности растений, качеству сухого сырья и другим характеристикам. По результатам исследований наиболее перспективной по урожайности и качеству продукции оказалась гибридная комбинация старшего поколения Ароматный × Американ 572, которая может быть рекомендована как новый сорт табака для введения его в Государственный реестр селекционных достижений, допущенных к использованию. Перспективный сорт Дюбек Предгорный подтвердил хорошие показатели качественных и количественных характеристик для сортотипа Дюбек и рекомендуется для возделывания в фермерских хозяйствах Крыма. Проведенные исследования позволяют увеличить сортовой сортимент крымских сортов табака. For profitability of tobacco industry, there must be an assortment of tobacco varieties. The soil and climatic zones of Crimea are suitable for cultivation of both premium aromatic and skeletal tobacco raw materials. The purpose of this work was to study the selected hybrid combinations of older generations of tobacco to identify prospects for their further use. The Institute Magarach breeders have created a number of promising varieties and hybrid combinations of older generations - the predecessor tobacco varieties. This work presents the results of evaluating six hybrid combinations of older generations, as well as the promising variety ‘Djubeck Predgornyi’ by basic economically valuable traits. The varieties ‘American 14’, ‘American 307’ and ‘Djubeck Novyi’ served as the standard. The work was carried out in the experimental plot located in the Piedmont zone of Crimea for three years. During the working process, phenological observations and the assessment of varieties in terms of plant productivity, quality of dry raw materials and other characteristics were carried out. According to the research results, the most promising in terms of cropping capacity and product quality was the hybrid combination of older generation ‘Aromatnyi’ × ‘American 572’, which can be recommended as a new tobacco variety for its introduction into the State Register of Breeding Achievements approved for use. The promising variety ‘Djubek Predgornyi’ has confirmed good parameters of qualitative and quantitative characteristics for ‘Djubek’ variety, and is recommended for cultivation in Crimean farming. The carried out researches allow increasing the varietal assortment of Crimean tobacco varieties.
