. The article proposes and substantiates a communicative service-oriented model based on synchronization of reproduction cycles of the subjects of customs administration. The reproduction cycle is considered as the basic model of the communication process between the service provider and the service recipient; the process is based on the customs service, which is transformed within the reproduction cycle from a product of customs authorities into a production resource of a participant in FEA.

Due to the target ship in the traditional ship handling simulator have not the ability to give way to other ships automatically to avoid collision, this paper put forward a new idea that bringing the hydraulic servo platform, six degrees of freedom ship mathematical model, the actual traffic flow, researching achievement of automatic anti-collision in research of the new pattern ship handling simulator, and successfully develop the Intelligent Ship Handling Simulator(ISHS for short). The paper focuse on the research on the network communication model of ISHS. We took the entire simulator system as three relatively independent networks, proposed a framework of communication network that combined IOCP model based on TCP with blocking model based on UDP, and gave the communication process and protocols of system. Test results indicate that this is an effective way to improve the ownship capacity of ship handling simulator and meet the need of multi-ownship configuration of desktop system of ship handling simulator.

The chapter “Ubiquitous Services and Business Processes” discussed the benefits for real time enterprises of service oriented architectures (SOA) in terms of reusability and flexibility. Web services are one incarnation of SOA. This chapter gives a brief introduction to SOA. It discusses the attributes that define SOA, the roles of the participants in a service oriented environment. The essence of SOA is that clients use services offered by a service provider to get a task done. For the moment we simplify service to “a software component with network connection”. Services are offered with a description at wellknown “places” (also called registries, repositories), where clients choose services according to their needs. The chapter discusses several approaches to describe services and to look for them. Moreover, some well-known systems, and also current research, are discussed.

With the growing interest in context-aware services, attention has been given to privacy and trust issues. Context-aware privacy architectures are usually proposed and developed without taking into account the trustworthiness of a service provider. Therefore, this chapter deals with two challenges in context-aware services. The first one is to improve privacy architectures with a trust functionality and the second one is to integrate this refined privacy architecture in larger service-oriented architectures (SOAs).

When the business process changes, the traditional community medical management system needs to change. But SOA is based on service oriented architecture and separates the service provider and service participants, which makes the system flexible. The paper analyzes and designs the subsystem including customer management, general clinic, business management, case management and treatment plan according to the design idea of service provider and service participants in SOA system. So the community medical management system based on SOA has great reference for community medical management system in other cities.
