In recent years, due to the simple design idea and good recognition effect, deep learning method has attracted more and more researchers’ attention in computer vision tasks. Aiming at the problem of athlete behavior recognition in mass sports teaching video, this paper takes depth video as the research object and cuts the frame sequence as the input of depth neural network model, inspired by the successful application of depth neural network based on two-dimensional convolution in image detection and recognition. A depth neural network based on three-dimensional convolution is constructed to automatically learn the temporal and spatial characteristics of athletes’ behavior. The training results on UTKinect-Action3D and MSR-Action3D public datasets show that the algorithm can correctly detect athletes’ behaviors and actions and show stronger recognition ability to the algorithm compared with the images without clipping frames, which effectively improves the recognition effect of physical education teaching videos.

This research aims to find innovative design solution to create sustainable compound residential towers in Aleppo city, for the reconstruction phase, by using the concept of sustainability and benefiting from natural energy sources. International organizations and many countries are interested in applying sustainable architecture standards, reducing emissions, mitigating pollution, and reducing long- term operating costs for buildings by making the most of natural resources. Tower buildings are among the most important design models that have been subject to the concepts of sustainability and their applications, due to their consumption of large amounts of energy. This research presents a study of a sustainable design for a residential compound tower, for the reconstruction phase in Aleppo city, using the genetic algorithm within the Grasshopper program. The tower design Idea depends on developing and linking the basic design idea of ​​the project with main design determinants such as dimensions, heights and other variables, including location and climatic characteristics, and then creating a barometric chart for these connections within the Grasshopper program. This chart links to the Galapagos tool, which is responsible for running the genetic algorithm. The random structure is generated when the algorithm started, and as a result of the cross- breeding, more advanced generations are created. The process continues to reach the most appropriate environmentally sustainable form to reduce the heat load acquired in summer. The model is evaluated environmentally using Ladybug simulation software, to provide solutions for modular residential towers that fit the local environment of Aleppo city. The results of the research showed that the solar heat load was reduced by adopting the genetic algorithm to find the most suitable configuration for the tower. The amount of reduction is 35% between the initial solutions and the final approved solution. The research also revealed that the use of green roofs reduces the heat load by 20%. The research also showed the effect of using shading facades. On the southern, western and eastern directions, the heat gain was reduced by 5%.

With the development of artificial intelligence and big data, the concept of “Internet plus education” has gradually become popular, including automatic scoring system based on machine learning. Countries all over the world vigorously promote the deep integration of information technology and discipline teaching in various fields. English is a medium of communication in the current era of education information development trend. English composition automatic scoring mode is gradually accepted by the majority of educators and applied in the actual classroom teaching. However, the research of English composition automatic grading in teaching space is not perfect. Most systems have used traditional algorithms. Therefore, this paper constructs the automatic scoring algorithm and sentence elegance feature scoring algorithm of English composition based on machine learning, explores the influence of the algorithm on English writing teaching, and proves the correctness of the design idea and algorithm of this paper through a lot of experiments.

PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to discuss the relationship between bra's visual impression and bra parts, and then to explore the application of visual impression in bra design.Design/methodology/approachFirstly, 82 female undergraduates are asked to answered this questionnaire online, which is about the importance of parts in bra design. In the part of data analysis, the method of principal part analysis (PCA) are used to get the relationship between bra's parts, and reduce dimension of factors that influence bra design. After that, those group of features are further discussed from the perspective of visual design. Finally, design an application based on conclusion.FindingsTo get the influence features of bra appearance and improve the visual design effect, this paper matches the bra parts with visual features (color, texture, shape and space) and presents four main features of bra design: “color,” “visual texture,” “design shape” and “spatial expression” together with corresponding bra parts and technique of expression. Moreover, user interface in bra cloud customization is designed.Practical implicationsThe conclusion, which shows the corresponding relationship between bra visual effect and its basic parts, has an important role in bra visual design. First, it can be useful for design idea with different technique of expression, which may supply a theoretical basis for design. Secondly, the combination of bra parts and visual features can be used to evaluate the appearance.Originality/valueDiscussing the bra visual impression based on bra's basic parts and visual features provides a theoretical method for bra design and its appearance evaluation.

Interdisciplinary and integrated talent training is not only the urgent need of economic, scientific, technological and social development, but also one of the inevitable trends of higher education and teaching reform. Firstly, this paper analyzes and summarizes three types of multidisciplinary talent training modes in American universities, namely, project-based interdisciplinary talent training mode, professional education based interdisciplinary talent training mode and curriculum based interdisciplinary talent training mode. Then, it compares and analyzes four modes of interdisciplinary talent training in Colleges and universities in China, namely interdisciplinary curriculum mode, interdisciplinary project mode, interdisciplinary specialty mode and interdisciplinary degree mode. Finally, it puts forward the design idea of curriculum system of interdisciplinary and integrated talent training mode in China.

Abstract A zero-knowledge decision making (ZKDM) method is proposed, and checked for correctness. For a certainkind of decision event, the decision maker does not know the internal mechanism and knowledge informationof the decision event. By defining the feature points and feature sets of the selection branches of the decisionevent, the characteristic moments of the system are constructed and the correct branch is obtained. It is observedthat the cases of arriving at the correct choice based on the ZKDM method have a certain universality. Theeffective mechanism of the ZKDM method may be related to the fact that the designers of decision events usuallydetermine the correct selection branch first, before changing it to design other branches. A questionnaire surveyof 279 respondents revealed that more than half of them adopted such a design idea. Furthermore, a separatequestionnaire survey of 465 decision-makers, reveal that 19.14% of the respondents clearly adopted ZKDM.

One hundred years after the foundation, the Bauhaus is well known as the epitome of modern design with countless books, articles and reviews illustrating a vivid discourse on how the Bauhaus influenced the design development since then. Greater parts of this discourse are dedicated to a rather material approach by pointing out the contradictions of Bauhaus design: the promise of creating prototypes for serial production on the one side and the actual products which are often handmade original art works, rather crafted in exquisite materials than designed for the masses. Walter Gropius’s original idea for his school thereby was about educating and inspiring modern individuals, teaching them how to work with their hands as well as their minds, how to reflect on the surrounding world, unifying hand crafting skills and artistic personality in times of the Machine Age. In the very special case of the correlation between design work as material product and the process of creating a design idea with all its psychological and personal implications must be differentiated. Especially the early spiritual and philosophical Bauhaus had set the base for a strong community, welded together by idealism, artistic spirit of creativity and strong faith in the sociocultural power of form and design.

To achieve efficient and environmental reuse of waste ribbons, artworks reconstructed from waste ribbons for decorative occasions were inspired by the dedicated and determined people working against coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and developed through a handmade and delicate strategy. With the theme of ‘Ordinary * Extraordinary,’ the artworks aim to convey endless positive energy and hope to people suffering from COVID-19. To fulfill the art reconstruction, the design idea, composition design and color design were comprehensively considered and carefully described. The artworks were applied for decoration in hospital wards and the home environment. Their composition and color gave medical workers, patients and ordinary people suffering from COVID-19 a sense of comfort and warmth. All positive energy from our artworks accompanied people and encouraged them never to give up and overcome COVID-19. The art reconstruction of waste ribbons proposed in this study may provide an excellent way for the reuse of waste ribbons. More importantly, it improves the added value of products and strengthens people's determination to overcome COVID-19.

Abstract A kinetostatic approach applied to the design of a backflip strategy for quadruped robots is proposed in this paper. Inspired by legged animals and taking the advantage of the leg workspace, this strategy provides an optimal design idea for the low-cost quadruped robots to achieve self-recovery after overturning. Through kinetostatic and energy analysis, a four-stepped backflip strategy based on the selected rotation axis with minimum energy is proposed, with a process of selection, lifting, rotating, and protection. The kinematic factors that affect the backflip are investigated, along with the relationship between the design parameters of the leg and trunk being analyzed. At the end of this paper, the strategy is validated by a simulation and experiments with a prototype called DRbot, demonstrating that the strategy endows the robot a strong self-recovery ability in various terrains.
