Vocal music teaching is one of the compulsory subjects for music majors in colleges and universities. Nowadays, the school attaches great importance to the cultivation of students' comprehensive quality. Therefore, in the teaching work of college vocal teachers, we must combine the actual situation and continuously strengthen the innovative ideas of vocal education in colleges and universities. This article elaborated on the current situation of vocal teaching in colleges and universities, and deeply analyzed the reform of vocal music in colleges and universities, hoping to provide some substantive references for vocal education in colleges and universities so that music majors can better improve their comprehensive quality.

For the education of vocal music teaching major in colleges and universities, the cultivation of stage performance ability plays a very important role in the improvement of students' professional quality. Only by obtaining a good foundation of stage performance ability can we mobilize the atmosphere of the scene and arouse the emotional resonance of the audience through vocal performance. When the educational environment changes, a series of changes have taken place in the teaching system and standards of vocal music in colleges and universities. Teachers should fully improve students' stage performance ability and professional quality in vocal music teaching. Next, this paper will analyze the training strategy of stage performance ability in vocal music teaching, hoping to provide valuable reference for the teaching activities of vocal music teachers, and improve the ability and level of vocal music teaching in colleges and universities in China.

Folk music is a heavy cultural carrier. Today, when culture is flourishing, it still has a unique charm and appeal. The intangible heritage of national music requires modern Chinese to continue to carry forward and inherit it, so that the spirit and characteristic culture contained in it can be smoothly transformed into the fruits of education. For this reason, it will be a feasible idea to promote and inherit national music from the perspective of intangible cultural heritage with academies education as the central medium. Under the background of the current era, comprehensively deepening the implementation of teaching reform is a key consideration for schools at all levels, especially for colleges and universities.
