To analyze the influence of distribution network with grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) generation on the power supply reliability, in this paper it firstly regards interconnected PV generation as an equivalent generator with rated capacity as well as the island operation mode of PV to set up a model for reliability calculation and analysis. Based on the network equivalent method, the structure of distribution system with PV is simplified and then the reliability indexes of distribution system are worked out based on Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). At last, a comparative calculation between the distribution network with incorporated PV generations and that without PV generations is made. After analyzing a real example, the results suggest that integrating PV power generations reasonably into the distribution network can enhance the reliability of whole distribution system.

As the increasing proportion of photovoltaic power generation in power grid, the influence from grid photovoltaic power generation to power quality is more and more significant. This paper analyzes the reasons of voltage fluctuation, voltage flicker and harmonics aroused by the photovoltaic energy grid, and summarizes the effects to other power quality index from photovoltaic energy grid. Then it puts forward the improvement actions, which has certain directive significance to the grid planning on photovoltaic power generation.

In this paper, a hybrid system to carry out the function of photovoltaic power generation and power quality control simultaneously was proposed. The configuration and principle of the hybrid system were discussed firstly, and then the mathematical model of the hybrid system was presented. To realize the compound function, a deadbeat compound control strategy was proposed. In the compound control strategy, the calculation method of the reference signal is proposed to achieve reactive power and harmonic detection, active signal for grid-connected electricity generating and DC-side voltage maintaining; to improve the dynamic response and decrease the steady-state error of the hybrid system, deadbeat compound control method was proposed. The new hybrid system is implemented in a 10kVA prototype in the laboratory. Simulation and experimental results show that the proposed hybrid system can effectively stabilize photovoltaic power generation, reactive power compensation, and harmonic elimination.

In recent years, with the gradual depletion of traditional energy, as renewable energy representatives, new energy has developed rapidly. We know that distributed photovoltaic power generation with clean, pollution-free, easy installation, and therefore has been rapid development. However, the large number of distributed photovoltaic power generation connected to the distribution network would have a negative impact on the grid with a safe and reliable operation because of its randomness and volatility intrinsic properties. In this paper, in terms of power flow, voltage distribution, load characteristics, power quality, system protection and reliability departure, through MATLAB simulation analysis, the distribution network transformation strategies of primary and secondary devices has been proposed. It laid an important foundation for renewable energy development and the Third Industrial Revolution.

Solar photovoltaic (PV) has been developed rapidly due to its clean and green renewable characteristics. The connection of photovoltaic power generation to the traditional grid system is bound to bring power quality problems. Based on above, this paper introduces the power quality testing method of photovoltaic grid-connected power grid in detail. And then takes the Shanghai Qingpu Nanrong distributed photovoltaic power generation for example, which is the largest single roof photovoltaic power station in Shanghai by far, to use the method to test its power quality. The power quality index include harmonic, voltage imbalance, and frequency deviation. The test and analysis provide a reference for the monitoring and analysis of power quality of photovoltaic grid-connected power grid.
