Student administration is the process of organizing and services in matters relating to students in a school starting from planning the admission of new students, coaching while students are in school, until students complete their education.Student administration is carried out through efforts to create an atmosphere conducive to an effective learning process. The task of the principal and teachers is to provide services by showing what students need, feel and aspire to within the limits of authority, desires and applicable school rules and regulations.Student administration is the activity of recording students from the admission process until students graduate from school or drop out due to transfer schools or other reasons. Abstrak- In general, this study aims to find out and analyze what is the administration of students and what matters relating to the administration of students. This research uses the literature study method by collecting literature (material materials) sourced from books, journals, and other sources related to the science of Educational Administration. Student administration is a process of administration and services related to students in a school consisting of planning, admission of new students, coaching while students are in school, until students complete their education. Or student administration is the activity of recording students from the admission process to students graduating from school or leaving due to transfer schools or other reasons. Student administration is carried out with efforts to create an atmosphere conducive to effective learning processes. The task of the principal and the teacher is to provide services by showing what is needed, felt and aspired by students within the limits of authority, desires and applicable school rules and regulations. The process of activities carried out in the framework of the administration of learners is divided into three stages, namely (a) administrative activities at the beginning of the school year, (b) administration during the school year and (c) administration at the end of the school year.

Background: Facilitating an effective learning process is the goal of higher education institutions. Despite improvement in curriculum and resources, many students cannot graduate on time. Mostly, the number of students who graduate on time is lower than the number of new students enrolling to universities. This could dilute the chance for students to learn effectively as the ratio between faculty members and students becomes non-ideal.Objective: This study aims to present a prediction model for students’ on-time graduation using the C4.5 algorithm by considering four features, namely the department, GPA, English score, and age.Methods: This research was completed in three stages: data pre-processing, data processing and performance measurement. This predicting scheme make the prediction based on the department of study, age, GPA and English proficiency.Results: The results of this study have successfully predicted students’ graduation. This result is based on the data of students who graduated in 2008-2014. The prediction performance result achieved 90% of accuracy using 300 testing data.Conclusion: The finding is expected to be useful for universities in administering their teaching and learning process.
