Computational thinking is an essential skill set for today's students, given the digital age in which we live and work (CT). Without a precise definition, it is generally understood to be a collection of abilities and attitudes required to deal with difficulties in any aspect of life, whether or not a computer is involved. Measurement and evaluation of students' progress in CT abilities are critical, and this can only be done using instruments that have been tested and shown to work before. New students at the Basque Country's University of the Basque Country's Engineering Degrees are tested for critical thinking, algorithmic thinking, problem solving, cooperation and creativity using a previously proven tool.

The Covid-19 pandemic has replaced face-to-face learning with online learning. Universities take advantage of the Siakadcloud application which has various challenges. The readiness of lecturers, students, and most importantly the internet network must be in harmony without any obstacles. Siakadcloud is an application that has just been socialized, of course it has the potential to cause stuttering, plus the distribution of internet networks is still questionable. This can trigger incoherence and cohesiveness in participating in teaching and learning activities. Whereas the urgency of Pancasila education is to teach about awareness of living together in the nation and state. This study aims to identify the challenges of online learning in strengthening students' Pancasila values ??as an effort to support the 4th goal of sustainable development (SDGs), namely quality education in the field of Civics Education. Using qualitative-descriptive research methods with analysis technique Creswell (2004), then combined with the concept of social solidarity (Emil Durkheim). The object of research is Pancasila Education class students in the odd semester of 2021 at Bangka Belitung University. The results showed that Pancasila education for students taught the values ??of unity, love for the homeland, and pluralism. So the strengthening of Pancasila values ??focuses on these three topics. The interesting thing is, students at Bangka Belitung University have a social environment that practices a good religious life. So that it becomes the basis for new students to strengthen the values ??of Pancasila through the value of God Almighty. On the other hand, the social solidarity that is formed in student online learning is organic solidarity which is a division of tasks based on the specifications of each new student's expertise.

Different higher education institutions (HEI) have broadly adopted peer mentoring as a strategy to provide initial and continuous support for new students, to promote their academic inclusion. In Distance Education HEI, peer e-mentoring assumes a crucial role in the promotion and maintenance of social and cognitive presence and in the creation of a sense of belonging to the academic community. Thus, it is assumed as a crucial support for the overcoming of online students' specific difficulties and as a factor for his success. After a theoretical framework, this chapter presents the case of a pilot e-mentoring project implemented in a European open university based on the paradigms of virtual learning communities and the model of the community of inquiry (CoI). To conclude, it presents a set of assumptions for the construction of an e-mentoring model adapted to online DE and further research to be conducted.

The statutory courses of the Department of Social Sciences belong to the “Interdisciplinary Curriculum Integration Model”, the “FU Chuan Charity Foundation” opened the “FU Chuan Charity Bachelor Class”, which has been operated by volunteers for 8 years, invisibly in the original “education and learning philosophy”. The outlines of 7 groups of education and learning models gradually emerged, so they were named “Education and Learning Models for the Bachelor of Evangelical Compassion”: including (1) the integration model of old and new students, (2) the cross-age and multi-group co-learning model, (3) Sharing mode in different places and different industries, (4) Social welfare resource co-study mode, (5) Potential mode of voluntary service, (6) Intervention response effect mode, (7) No-handling property mode. The operation of this model has changed from “Originally run a school for the Foundation” to “Run a school for the Friends Association”, and at least assist students in 5 changes: (1) Attitude to study, from “wait and see trial” to “specialized reading” “, then change to “Determined to Grad.” (2) The learning factor changes from “convenient time” to “professional needs”, then to “equal attention to time and professionalism”, and then to “desire to graduate”. (3) The average number of courses taken has changed from “inconsistent courses” to “concentrated courses” and then to “intensive courses”. (4) Student volunteer habits have changed from “adjustment to ups and downs” to “balanced and stable”. The article presents for the first time an attempt to summarize the experience of teaching the Russian language and other philological disciplines in the First Forest Russian University from the beginning of the XIX century to the present. The historiography of linguistic education at SPbFTU relies not only on open information sources, but also on recently discovered departmental and state archival materials. The author's reference to the founded documents allows us to clarify not only certain stages in the history of teaching the Russian language, the main activities of teachers, but also to present the bright personalities of teachers who in different years taught Russian language to native and foreign students. Already in the first decades of the existence of the Forest Institute, much attention is paid to the actual language development and education. Students of the Forestry Institute study Russian, are engaged in writing business papers and rhetoric practice. The study of the Russian language in the XIX century is mainly subordinated to the pragmatics of teaching, but knowledge of the native language plays an equally important role for the general cultural level of the student. The change of the ideological paradigm, the removal of educational restrictions, the installation on the organization of the training of proletarian students after the revolution of 1917 also affects the humanitarian education of new students. A specialist of a new type, with a Marxist worldview, must be literate and have a broad outlook. Despite the urgent need for language education, for the practical teaching of the Russian language to students and postgraduates, there was no special department of the Russian language at the Forestry Academy (LTA) until the middle of the twentieth century. Awareness of the special role of the Russian language in professional training, in the formation of the world outlook of foreign students led to the creation of the Department of the Russian language in LTA only in September 1955. During the period that has elapsed since the formation of the department, the staffing table, the list of fixed disciplines, goals, tasks and requirements in the training of students have been repeatedly changed. However, teaching philological disciplines by the staff of the Russian Language Department at the Forestry University has always been associated with a broad context of human cultural development, with the strategic goal of raising the level of speech-thinking culture that ensures effective modern communication of a linguistic personality.

Socialization is a process, in which a new member of society learns the norms and values of which he or she is a member. This socialization is done as a form of effort from universities to be able to provide information about the admission of new students. This aims that information about this can be conveyed properly in accordance with the Mandate of the Ministry of Education and Technology which expects that there is an increase in the Gross Participation Rate (APK) of Higher Education in Indonesia, especially in bandar Lampung City. The low Gross Participation Rate (APK) of Higher Education in Indonesia in 2018 showed a figure of 33.37%. This figure shows the lag when compared to some other communities in ASEAN. Seeing this, Lampung University as one of the universities also organizes socialization of new student admissions every year. The new student admission system is carried out through the test path determined by the Ministry of Education and Technology. In addition, Lampung University also held student admissions through the achievement path as a form of appreciation of Indonesian students who have ability both in the academic and non-academic fields. Socialization of new student admissions of Lampung University to increase the Gross Participation Rate of Universities in Bandar Lampung City is generally done through online and direct socialization on a limited basis while still complying with health protocols. This socialization activity is also continued with evaluation and monitoring so that the activities run well and the desired essence and objectives can be achieved.
