Molar distalization is a non-extraction modality in gaining space to alleviate crowding in the dental units. It is also a widely used modality in Class II correction. Several techniques and appliances have been designed for this purpose. In this article a new loop configuration is proposed which can be fabricated on a continuous archwire alongwith a case report of a 14 year old whose malocclusion was managed with it. The Modified K-Loop Molar Distalization Archwire was found to effective and comfortable for the patient. There was no requirement of additional palatal hardware or miniscrews

Implants obtained popularity in Orthodontics by to make easy the maximum anchorage with the minimal patient׳s compliance. In this context, osseointegrated implants has been frequently used as auxiliaries of orthodontic treatments, substituting in some cases inter maxillaries elastics and extra oral appliances. These implants show as advantage a independence in opposite the patient׳s compliance, the anchorage possibility in periodontal loss cases, over there an esthetic improvement and the comfort propitiated, showing more expected results. This article approach the orthodontic treatment of a clinic case of Class II, division 1 malocclusion, non-extraction accomplished and with palatal implant to distalization of latter teeth.

The periodontal treatment of teeth with furcation defect is clinically challenging. In cases of class II furcation defects, the regenerative surgery shows low morbidity and good prognosis when correctly indicated. The aim of the presentstudy is to report a treatment option for class II furcation defect through autogenous bone graft associated with the Bichat’s fat pad. Case report: A 59-year-old female patient was diagnosed with class II furcation defect in the left mandibular first molar. The treatment comprised surgical reconstruction of the defect with a combination of maxillary tuberosity bone graft and Bichat’s fat pad. The clinical and radiographic follow-up of 180 days showed bone formation inthe furcation area and absence of probing depth. Conclusion: An association of autogenous graft form the maxillary tuberosity with a Bichat’s fat pad proved to be a safe, low cost, and effective therapy for the regenerative treatment of class II furcation.

Correction of skeletal Class II malocclusion has become a major challenge for orthodontists. Class II jaw discrepancies characterized by mandibular deficiency are treated with fixed functional appliances when there is no active growth present. This case report illustrates the application of PowerScope in 16 years young adolescent male having skeletal Class II Div 2 with mandibular deficiency who was reported with forwardly and irregularly placed upper front teeth with closed bite. The case was treated initially with MBT 0.022” prescription followed by PowerScope. Successful results were obtained with a substantial improvement in facial profile, skeletal jaw relationship and overall aesthetic appearance. PowerScope produced a significant forward movement of mandible which obliterated the need of extractions

We describe the treatment of a girl, age 18 years with Class II div-2 malocclusion with deep bite and crowding. Treatment consisted mainly of bite opening, 1st premolars extractions, canine retraction, arch co-ordination, leveling and alignment with Edgewise fixed appliances by multiloop technique. However the treatment resulted in Class I incisor relation with proper alignment of upper and lower anterior segment, an ideal overjet, overbite and incisor angulations.
