This article explores the topic of returns of Stanisław Vincenz to his lost geographies. It highlights the problem through lens of psychological notions depicting processes of remembering and forgetting formulated by psychologists Bluma Zeigarnik and Maria Owsiankina. According to the article, the behaviour of the writer bears many symptoms which are specific to mentioned psychological concepts. From the considered habits of the writer the most striking are his constant voluntary returns to the interrupted act and the strong determination to finish it. The analysis of selected writer’s letters, scripts of conversations, diaries fragments etc., shows that observations made by cited Russian researchers can be used in literature studies.

The success of engineering and design is facilitated by a working understanding of human thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. In this study, we explored how undergraduate engineering students included such human-centered and psychological concepts in their project documentation. Although, we observed a range of concepts related to design processes, teams, cognition, and motivation, these concepts appeared infrequently and superficially. We discuss how this analysis and approach may help to identify topics that could be leveraged for future human-centered engineering instruction.

In spite of the increasing number of Christian therapists, we still have no truly integrative approach to Christian counseling. Most attempts at integration of biblical and psychological concepts that do exist tend to be on a “hit or miss” or “proof text” basis. The thesis proposed is that one of the major barriers to an integrative approach to Christian counseling is the subtle anxiety and hidden guilt over vocational role identification experienced by most Christian counselors. The developmental origin and possible resolution of this barrier is discussed.

Viewed from various aspects, al-Qur'an has long talked about psychology before the West exposed this concept. Even when by definition the concept of psychology is still "shifting in search" of the true form of meaning, Al-Qur'an explicitly explains the psychological concepts related to everything that concerns of human both from physical and psychic reviews. Al-Quran reviews about the human physical includes insan, ins, nas or unas, basyar, and bani adam or zurriyat adam. While the review of the soul/psychic is broader that start from an-nafs, ar-ruh and al-jism with all sorts of diversity of meaning and intent.

Theather as therapeutic exercise in We are all King Lear from Guillermo SchmidhuberAbstractIn We are all King Lear, written in 1979 and published in 1982, the Mexican playwright Guillermo Schmidhuber de la Mora clearly lays out an intertextuality exercise in front of William Shakespeare’s work. This study is an exploration of how Schmidhuber dramatizes the creation of hyperreality as a therapeutic process not only for certain characters of the play, but also for the audience and even for the playwright himself. To carry out this exploration, the paper applies Baudrillard’s concepts of hyperreality and simulation, as well as some affirmations from Schmidhuber himself about dramaturgy, and some of Phil Jones’ psychological concepts regarding drama therapy and its transformative effects as a theatrical exercise. Through this therapeutic process, the characters Real Millionaire and Álvaro attempt to rectify the vital conflicts that unsettle them both, while the author himself negotiates his identity as a playwright.Recibido: 05 de octubre de 2020Aceptado: 01 de febrero de 2021
