  Marriage is one of the tiers in the life of the society which called “stage a long the life cycle”. The purpose of this research is to obtain the informationa about: First, The Customs Procedures of Marriage for Melayu Palembang People; Second, Islamic Law in Marriage Customs for Melayu Palembang People; Third, The Customs Culture of Marriage for Melayu Palembang People; and Fourth, The Islamic Construction of Marriage Customs for Melayu Palembang People. This Research is using Qualitative Research Methods with Law Sociologist approachment and Islamic Idea, which is focused to the implementation process of marriage based on Islamic and Culture law with performance goals that have been set. The Research several Data was obtained by using interview method which was done to the object of respondent. The results of this research show : First, The customs procedures of marriage for Melayu Palembang people, in the implementation, are use Islamic law however there are some choreography by itself such as pre-marriage and after marriage. The culture of marriage for Melayu Palembang people, is divided into four phases: Cultural phase pre-marriage, Cultural phase implementation of marriage, Cultural phase after marriage and pattern of settling after marriage. Second, Marriage Law in Islamic religious teachings with Matrial Law in the state law, in marriage ordinances of Melayu Palembang people in general can be said to have been aligned, in its implementation also in accordance with the rules and referral. Where as the references in the state law on marriage are Al Quran, Al Sunnah and Qaidah Fighiyah and Consesus of Muslims in Indonesia. Third, Contribution of customary law appears on before and after marriage where there are certain or dinances and there are certain ways to hold the marriage. The customary law of our country is the laws that suit the development of Islamic Society in Indonesia, customary marriage for Melayu Palembang people on its implementation is the application of Islamic Law Theory. Fourth, Construction of Islam in marriage maintained, that marriage has values that are preserved by Melayu Palembang people continuously. The value of faith in Islamic Marriage is a good act and behavior and can lead toward the marriage in the religion of Islam, namely to evoke marriage that enriches sakina, mawada, warahmah and barokah. The points contained in the religion of Islam contains the meaning and the bonding element that have a profund influence on customary marriage of Melayu Palembang people, because this bonds came from the power that comes from the Creator.

After the bombing of the World Trade Center (WTC) building in 1993, Hollywood has intensively produced films which have laid the blame of terrorist acts in the United States on Muslims. These films give a bad image to Muslims,particularly after the 2001 WTC bombing by Al-Qaeda.It was reported that the leading print media increased their reportage of news about Islam by 560%. After the events of 9/11, the issue of Islamophobia again became a hot issue not only in America, but also in countries with a small Muslim populations. Uniquely, four years later, Hollywood released the movie Kingdom of Heaven film which gives a more positive image of Islam. The film tries to counter the negative stigma of Westerners of the teachings of Islam, as well as educate the international community on true teachings of Islam through the story of Saladin's generosity while leading the Islamic forces during the Crusading era. This study aims to determine the meaning of the denotations, connotations, and myths of the signs that exist in the film Kingdom of Heaven on the positive image of Islam presented in it. This research method is a qualitative interpretive and semiotics analysis of Roland Barthes. The results of research ison six analysis units in the form of scenes in Kingdom of Heaven which show a positive image of Islam successfully portrayed in the film.

Abstrak Penelitian ini berjudul “Resonansi Maharaja Imam Muhammad Basiuni Imran (1885-1976) dan Pengaruhnya dalam Kehidupan Sosial, Budaya, Politik di Sambas”, yaitu berangkat dari peristiwa sejarah bahwa Muhammad Basiuni Imran dilantik menjadi Maharaja Imam, sebuah jabatan agama tertinggi di kesultanan Sambas. Jabatan tersebut bersifat Ascribed Status, yakni kedudukan ini diperoleh yang disebabkan oleh keturunan, ayah dan Kakeknya adalah Maharaja Imam. Akan tetapi ketika jabatan tersebut dipegang oleh Muhammad Basiuni Imran telah terjadi perubahan-perubahan dalam masyarakat Sambas yang disebabkan oleh kondisi sosial, budaya dan politik yang terjadi di Sambas, disamping kemampuannya dalam bidang agama yang mumpuni. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian sejarah yang dilakukan dengan empat tahap, yaitu: heuristik, verifikasi, interpretasi dan historiografi dan menggunakan pendekatan sosial dan politik.   Abstrac The research is about "The Resonance of Maharaja Imam Muhammad Basiuni Imran (1885-1976) and Its Impact on Social, Cultural, Political Life in Sambas", which departs from historical events of Muhammad Basiuni Imran was appointed become Maharaja Imam, a highest religious position in the Sambas sultanate . The position is Ascribed Status, namely this position is obtained due to offspring, father and grandfather are Maharaja Imam. However, when the position was held by Muhammad Basiuni Imran there were changes in the Sambas community caused by social, cultural and political conditions that occurred in Sambas, in addition to his ability in the field of qualified religion. This research is a historical research conducted in four stages, namely: heuristics, verification, interpretation and historiography and using social and political approaches

This research entitled "Small Mecca in the Land Besemah Study of the Dynamics of the Development of Islam in Pardipe Village" This study aims to explore the dynamics of the development of Islam in the village of Pardipe from the phase of the arrival of Islam to this day. This research includes field research with locations in Pardipe Village, South Dempo Sub-District, Pagaralam City, South Sumatra. This type of research uses a type of qualitative research, namely a procedure that produces qualitative descriptive data in the form of words, images, and not numbers, from people or observable behavior. While the source of data from this study is primary and secondary as for data collection in this study, the primary data source in this study is the source of data obtained through interviews and observations about the condition of the subject and object of research, secondary data sources in this study are various documents or archives, artepak, news, and books relating to problems in research. The results of this study can be concluded as follows the entry of Islam into the village of Pardipe was brought by a mubalihg named Syeh Nurqodim Al-Baharudin or better known as Puyang Awak. The dynamics that occur in the development of Islam in the village of Pardipe is like following a cycle, where there are phases appearing to develop and experience decline. There are several reasons why the village of Pardipe is referred to as the small Mecca, the first because the village was the first place for the entry of Islam on weak land. white people who often gather in the village

Abstact: Many assumptions say that differences in generation, educational background, socio-cultural background and so on will have an effect on the mindset of an interpreter. To prove the validity of these assumptions, this study proposed to explore the epistemology structure of Q.S. At-Thalaq [65]: 2-3 interpretation in Tafsir Tarjuman al-Mustafid by Abdurrauf As-Singkili and Tafsir Al-Misbah by M. Quraish Shihab. The results of this study are any differences in the epistemological structure of interpretation between the two interpreters in interpreting Q.S At-Thalaq [65]: 2-3, for example in terms of sources, As-Singkili uses hadith and opinions in tafsir Baidhawi, Tafsir Al-Khazin, Tafsir Manafi’ Al-Qur’an and Tafsir karangan As-Tsa’libi while M. Quraish Shihab uses lexical-linguistic analysis, munasabah, hadith, ulama opinion and ra'yu.   Abstrak: Banyak asumsi mengatakan bahwa perbedaan generasi, latar belakang pendidikan, latar sosio-kultural dan sebagainya akan berpengaruh pada pola pikir seseorang mufassir. Untuk membuktikan kebenaran dari asumsi tersebut, maka penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengeksplorasi struktur epistemologi penafsiran Q.S. At-Thalaq [65]: 2-3 dalam interpretasi Tafsir Tarjuman al-Mustafid oleh Abdurra’uf As-Singkili dan Tafsir Al-Misbah oleh M. Quraish Shihab. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan struktur epistemologi penafsiran ini adalah terdapat perbedaan struktur epistemologi penafsiran antara kedua mufassir tersebut dalam menafsirkan Q.S At-Thalaq [65]: 2-3, misal dari sumber, As-Singkili menggunakan hadis dan merujuk pendapat-pendapat dalam tafsir Baidhawi, Tafsir Al-Khazin, Tafsir Manafi’ Al-Qur’an dan Tafsir karangan As-Tsa’libi. Sedangkan Quraish Shihab menggunakan analisis leksikal-linguistik, munasabah, hadits, pendapat ulama dan ra’yu.

This paper is entitled Fiqh as Traffic-Light: Mirror of Fiqh Formulation ‘Umar ibn al-Khaththab. The author wants to express the original fiqh that was advanced by the scholars and the majority of ‘Umar ibn al-Khaththab through the study of literature. This literature research study, therefore, uses qualitative data. The data is analyzed with relevant rules, especially Islamic maqshid rules. Based on studies and research conducted, the results are obtained that: First, fiqh is the result of human thought about Islamic law which is understood from the arguments of the Sunnah Al-Qur'an. Therefore, it can be used with a variety of considerations, making it suitable for every time and every place. Second, according to ‘Umar ibn al-Khathtab, the second Caliph, fiqh was the same as traffic light. Traffict-light work for traffic, while fiqh is done as a regulator of the journey of human life. The purpose of traffic-light is to realize the benefit of cross-country, while fiqh is to realize the benefit of human life. Therefore, if it cannot realize benefit, it can be shifted in a way that will bring benefit.

By reviewing primary and secondary sources to obtain accurate and clear data that contains: Islamic principles of democracy in the struggle of Nurcholish Madjid, Islamic Principles about Democracy in Learning Applying Islamic Principles about democracy in Indonesia. Democracy requires real effort from every citizen and its supporting devices, namely a conducive culture as a manifestation of a society's thinking and design to create democracy as a view of life in the country both by the people and the government. The regularity of the background, the importance of this article is discussed. This article will discuss more about discussing Nurcholish Madjid about Islam and democracy.

The market competition in primary human need business lies in retail businesses that also experience competition. Retail or retail businesses are all activities involved in the sale of goods or services directly to the final consumer for personal and non-business use. As we know that business competition is a consequence of business actors, not excluding retail trade in Indonesia. The issues discussed here are the Government’s Role in the Regulation of Minimarket Business Areas and Lawlessness Committed by Minimarket Business actors in Palembang City. The formulation of the problem includes about how the development of minimarket based on the Regulation of the Mayor of Palembang Number 25 years 2011. The aim is to analyze the develpoment of minimarket based on Regulation of the Mayor of Palembang Number 25 years 2011 on the road Kapten Abdullah Kelurahan Plaju Ilir Kecamatan Seberang Ulu II Kota Palembang.

The inclusion of the Ombudsman in the Amendment to the 1945 Constitution will place the existence of the Ombudsman's recommendations philosophically (as well as politically) with high value. So that even though it is not legally binding, it is still obeyed by the State Administration. The position of the Ombudsman is a state institution that is independent and does not have an organic relationship with state institutions and other government agencies, and in carrying out its duties and authority free from interference from other powers.

This study analyzes the influence of Islamic stocks on corporate sukuk. The object of this study is the outstanding corporate sukuk in Indonesia in 2015-2016. This study aims to analyze the effect of Islamic stock variables, namely the capitalization of the Jakarta Islamic Index and the Indonesian Islamic Stock Index. This research was conducted using quantitative methods. The data source in this study is secondary data. The data in this study were collected in two ways, namely choosing objects based on three elements (social situation) and samples (purposive sampling). The data collection technique in this study is documentation. The results of this study indicate that the Capitalization of the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) has a significant negative effect on outstanding sukuk because the capitalization coefficient of the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) is -0.015194 and the significance level of JII is 0.0299 smaller than alpha 0.05. This means that the increase in capitalization that occurred in 2015-2017 had a significant negative effect on the outstanding sukuk which caused the outstanding sukuk to decline. The Capitalization of the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) has a significant positive effect on outstanding sukuk because the capitalization coefficient of the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) is 0.014341 and the significance level of the ISSI is 0,0008 smaller than alpha 0.05 which means an increase in ISSI capital in the year 2015-2017 had a significant positive effect on outstanding sukuk which resulted in outstanding sukuk increasing.
