The inclusion of finite size effects in a single temperature Maxwell—Boltzmann, which inspired model calculation of pT distributions of h− and proton spectra, leads to an enhancement at low values of pT. In the case of h− spectra this increase is consistent with the recent measurements of S+S at 200 GeV/c per nucleon. The calculated increase at low values of pT in the proton spectra occurs at small values of the transverse kinetic energy which are not accessible in the recent experimental results.
