Abstract INCOLOY Alloy MA 956 is manufactured by mechanical alloying, which uniformly disperses yttrium oxide for dispersion strengthening to the alloy's melting point. The alloy combines strength at high temperatures with excellent resistance to oxidation, carburization and hot corrosion. These attributes make it an especially suitable material for applications involving rigorous service conditions at elevated temperatures. Alloy MA 956 is available only in sheet form.
