Abstract SICROMO 7 is a low carbon, 7% chromium alloy steel possessing high temperature properties and high resistance to attack by hot petroleum products. It is suggested as a substitute for the 5% chromium type steels for those applications in which a greater resistance is required to corrosion by hot petroleum products and when a greater load-carrying ability is desired. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and creep.
