DONEGAL D-28
Abstract This alloy is the most popular grade of the chrome-nickel stainless steels. The wide usage of D-28 is due primarily to its excellent corrosion resistance to many highly corrosive media and to its remarkably high resistance to impact which is maintained at sub-zero temperatures. It is similar to A.C.I. Type CF-8. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and creep. It also includes information on low and high temperature performance, and corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-66.
