The article considers problematic practical moments of compliance with the rules and methods of research of safety indicators of non-food products in accordance with the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union. The authors give examples of the inconsistency of the measurement procedures presented in the lists, indicated in the lists of various technical regulations for the study of non-food products, directly affects the work of laboratories and limits their ability to conduct research. Using the example of methods for determining the concentration of formaldehyde in air extracts indicated in different technical regulations for non-food products, it is shown that in practice there are situations when the same safety index for different groups of goods is investigated according to different measurement methods. It has been shown that until now in the lists of documents in the field of standardization, containing rules and methods of research (testing) and measurements, there are methods that do not meet the sensitivity requirements specified in the same technical regulations, as well as certain documents that have become invalid. Proposals on synchronization of rules and methods for researching the safety indicators of non-food products for timely provision of sanitary and epidemiological surveillance with objective data on valid up-to-date documents have been developed.

Based on TM remote sensing image and topographic map, the spatial information of landscape pattern was extracted in study areas in 1990, 2000 and 2010. With the principles and methods of landscape ecology, land use/cover change, ecosystem service values were selected to construct the ecological safety index which was used to quantitatively analyze the dynamic changes of landscape pattern and elucidated ecological safety status in study area. Result showed that During the 20 years from 1990 to 2010, as human factors interference increase, the farmland and construction land increased by 21.11% and 15.38% respectively, the grassland area is reduced by 27.57%.Cropland had an increased trend during the period of 1990 to 2010 period, The wood land and swamp land had an increased trend during the period of 1990 to 2000 area also, but reduced during from 2000 to 2010.From 1990 to 2010, the whole study area lied in the level of relatively safer, but the safe area was reduced the amount of 4967 ha during 2000 to 2010. The relatively safer land areas was increased first then reduced during the whole study period, the relatively non-safer level land and relatively safer level land areas were accounting for 10.81% and 2.92% of the total area respectively.

The Ontario Highway Bridge Design Code was first issued in 1979 and has since been used for the design and evaluation of most bridges in Ontario. The code is in metric SI units, written in a limit states format, and calibrated to a target safety index value of 3.5. It has produced bridges with a more consistent safety level and capable of carrying design live loads twice those previously prescribed. Feedback from users was obtained and their concerns considered in formulating the provisions of the seeond edition in 1983. New bridge codes can be written in a short time and implemented most readily within a relatively small jurisdiction having control of all highways, bridges, and vehicles. Communications between the writers and potential users are important throughout the preparation and implementation phases. It is essential that a commentary volume be issued with a code to ensure correct understanding and interpretation of new provisions. Computer programs should be available, incorporating the code technology before the use of a new code becomes mandatory. Future code needs and likely areas of new development are outlined in the paper. Key words: calibration, codes, computer systems, highway bridges, loadings, safety, structures.
