The article analyses reservoir properties of Jurassic sediments, where there is textural non-uniformity, and estimates the role of laminated clay volume in determining the calculation parameters. The forecast of flow rates and comparison with actual data of wells operation are produced with the counting of adjusted values of permeability and thickness. It is recommended to carry out the tuning of the hydrodynamical model taking into account the division of the phase permeability by layered clay. According to the results of the performed work we can expect that complete analysis of well testing data and the core materials will allow increasing technological efficiency.

This chapter examines the construction of Chinese gay identity in a popular queer online fiction titled Beijing Story. Drawing on the Derridian notion of “hauntology”, I propose to read the novel as a social critique of postsocialist China in the context of globalization and neoliberalism. I highlight the intersections between sexuality, masculinity, and class in the narrative, and the potential productivity of paying more attention to the issue of class in queer subject formation in contemporary China. I also emphasize the crucial role of the transnational, as well as historical forms of homoeroticism and recent historical memories of revolution and reconstruction, in constructing contemporary gay identity in China. In doing so, I critically assess the role of “queer Marxism” (Liu 2015) in a transnational Chinese context.

Abstract Background Use of alcohol and other drugs is a major risk factor for assaultive injuries and violent deaths. The purpose of this study was to examine the time trends in the prevalence of alcohol and marijuana detected in homicide victims. Methods We analyzed toxicological testing data for homicide victims (n = 12,638) from the 2004–2016 National Violent Death Reporting System in 9 US states (Colorado, Georgia, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin). We used the Cochran-Armitage test for trend to assess the statistical significance of changes in the prevalence of alcohol and marijuana detected in these homicide victims during the study period. Results Overall, 37.5% of the homicide victims tested positive for alcohol, 31.0% positive for marijuana, and 11.4% positive for both substances. During the study period, the prevalence of marijuana increased from 22.3% (95% confidence interval [CI] = 19.6, 25.0) in 2004 to 42.1% (95% CI = 39.2, 44.9) in 2016 (Z = -15.7; P < .001) while the prevalence of alcohol declined slightly (Z = 1.5; P = 0.143). Marked increases in the prevalence of marijuana were observed in both sexes and across age and racial groups. Conclusions Marijuana is increasingly detected in homicide victims irrespective of demographic characteristics. Further research is needed to assess the causal role of marijuana use and concurrent use of marijuana and alcohol in homicide victimization.

Empirical measures of σ bonding involving metal 3d orbitals are derived from Perumareddi's (4) complete analysis of the quartet spectral bands of quadrate complexes in the families Cr(NH3)5Xn+ and Cr(OH2)5Xn+. These are shown to correlate with lability of X in the Cr(III) complexes and in Co(NH3)5Xn+ complexes in a sense indicating that relative reactivity is controlled by variation of ligand metal 3d σ interaction. The relationship between the two Cr(III) series implies that the non-labile ligands can labilize the leaving group in proportion to their σ donor capacities. This observation bears on some well-known difficulties in crystal field theories of reactivity. In evaluating the correlation of spectral parameters with reactivity, the role of solvation in reactivity of Cr(III) and Co(III) complexes is discussed with emphasis on the surprisingly small solvent effects that have been observed.

This paper takes Yingtai area which is located in the south of Qijia-Gulong sag and part of central sag area in the north of the Songliao Basin as the research area. Then combining all information of core, logging, three-dimensional seism and well testing data, it studies the reservoir type and oil-water distribution characteristics of Heidimiao by analyzing the comparison charts of sandstone, profile map of reservoir, T07 structure diagram, well testing data, stratum thickness, sandstone thickness, ratio of sandstone thickness to stratum thickness, porosity values, permeability contour maps. The reservoir lithology of Heidimiao oil layer is siltstone-oriented with poor physical property. The main controlling factor of oil-water distribution is the lithology, followed by the structure. Heidimiao oil layer mainly includes three types, lithological oil reservoir, lithological - structural oil reservoir and structural oil reservoir, among which lithological reservoir plays a dominant role. Its oil-water distribution is characterized by the pattern of upper-water and bottom-oil; when the fault acts as the pathway for the longitudinal migration of oil and gas, the pattern changes to the upper-oil and bottom-water. This research could provide reliable geological basis for the research of old well re-examination, favorable area evaluation and horizontal well drilling design.

Well testing engineering design must be completed according to the geological and engineering tasks and the actual condition of the well before logging, and then the test preparation completes according to the design. The whole construction process is carried out in accordance with the engineering design, For the complex test cases, it is need to adjust the testing process according to the basis data of engineering design and actual situation, engineering design is very important for the construction of production profile testing of horizontal wells. Engineering design can improve the test efficiency, ensure the accuracy of test data and test safety, reduce the cost of testing. This paper analyzed the role of engineering design in the testing construction and expounds the influence of engineering design for test construction by way of example.
