Ease of use and Usefulness are the two attributes of Technology Acceptance Model – TAM. These attributes are the basis of this article that comprises the results of a survey with 221 physicians located at Santa Casa de Misericordia de Santos - SCMS, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil regarding the use of an innovation technology tool like Electronic Medical Record. The method was based on a questionnaire specially developed for this study, based on the literature review and the results show that the younger and the newer to the profession, besides those who began to use voluntarily and those who had academic preparation to use this kind of tool showed greater perception of both attributes, what led them to a faster adoption of Electronic Medical Record and its funcionalities like clinical decision support and big data. It was also identified that gender, amount of training and instructors do not influence the perception of attributes leading to adoption, but the familiarity with informatics influence the perception of ease of use as though as professional ties influence the perception of usefullness.

Purpose This study aims to analyze the adoption of the people entrepreneurship credit with online platform – a government-sponsored subsidy of small and medium enterprises to reduce poverty and to improve welfare – in the Central Java, Indonesia. The objective of the research is also to analyze the motivation of small and medium enterprises to adopt the credit with online platform in supporting business activities. The research framework used the technology acceptance model – the effect of perception of usefulness, perception of ease of use, subjective norm and four As – availability, affordability, awareness, acceptability and trust – to analyze them as the determinants on the intention to adopt the People Entrepreneurship Credit. Design/methodology/approach The quantitative method with survey was deployed in the study by distributing questionnaires. The number of collected data was 380 credit users, and the criteria used for the respondents were the small entrepreneurs with the use of the people entrepreneurship credit as the micro credit program. Findings Results indicated that perception of usefulness, perception of ease of use, subjective norm, availability, trust and affordability have direct effect on the intention to adopt the credit. Interestingly, the strongest direct effect on the adoption intention was more likely to come from the perception of ease of use. Meanwhile, awareness and acceptability have no direct effect on the intention to adopt. Originality/value This study provides new theoretical insights regarding the implementation of technology acceptance model to analyze the intention to adopt and the analysis of four As concept. The findings of the study will provide a better strategy for banking as service industries in formulating the program of credit access for the entrepreneurs to run the business properly.

The development of technology, especially in the creation of existing applications, causes users to receive the latest information. However, not all information technology is accepted by all parties, due to inconsistency with existing needs. In this research, explain the intention of using the UC Student application where the variables used are the perception of usefulness, perception of ease, trust and quality of information. The research uses the theory of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to determine what factors affect the use Of the UC Student application. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire (angket), which is distributed online to 100 respondents who have used the UC Student application. Data processing by using SPSS obtained result from regression number as follows Y = 1.279 + 0.412 x1 + 0.176 x2 + 0.093 x3 + 0.036 x4, variable perceived usefulness has the greatest influence on intention to use UC Student application, and variable perceived ease of use gives a positive impact on the UC student intention to use application. In this research perceived variable usefulness have a major influence on the Intention to use UC Student Application

Nowadays, new tools and technologies are emerging rapidly. They are often used cross-culturally before being tested for suitability and validity. However, they would be validated to ensure that they work with all users, not just part of them. Mobile banking (as a new technology tool) has been introduced assuming that it performs well concerning authentication among all members of the society. We aim to validate mobile banking intention to use, through Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), focused on security, in Arabic countries, namely Yemen. The results confirm the previous studies that have shown the importance of perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness.

Purpose This study aims to provide an analysis of the attitude toward three banking services technologies in Sudan, namely, automated teller machines (ATMs), mobile banking and internet (online) banking. The study started by conducting an exploratory factor analysis, on the valid responses received from a random sample of bank customers in Sudan toward the three technologies. Design/methodology/approach The study used the “technology acceptance model” as a conceptual framework to investigate the factors that influence customers’ acceptance and intention to use bank technologies. Findings The study found that the customers’ attitude toward various bank technologies is not the same and is influenced by different factors. The results revealed that bank customers who are users of ATMs are influenced by its convenience, ease of use and service quality, whereas credibility was not seen as a significant driver. Mobile users were found to be influenced more by the benefits and ease of use and service quality, whereas internet customers were influenced by the benefits and ease of use and credibility of the systems. Under the three models, attitude emerged as a fully mediating factor for customers’ behavioral intentions. Practical implications The implications of this study are obvious for both regulators and bankers in Sudan for careful designing and implementation of their technology-based banking systems and focusing on the features of concern and desirable most by bank customers and necessary for secure and safe adoption of technology-based banking. Originality/value There are no studies to date that provide evidence of customer acceptance and the use of these services, the volume of bank business or profits derived from these services. This is especially important because security concerns are always associated and attached with technology-based services. The identification of technology acceptance factors is very important for bank regulators, bank marketers and banks’ customer base.

The gaming industry has become one of the most promising markets, and playing a game is also has been considered as the best leisure and entertainment activities in the last few decades. Understanding how consumers within the market behave is important to decide the best marketing strategy to be applied to achieve a competitive advantage in the market. Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) has been widely used to examine the adoption of technology and/or information system-related products. This study's main purpose is to investigate player’s intention to play games on a mobile platform in Indonesia. We predict self-efficacy as the keys determinant factor that could affect player’s adoption of mobile games. Data calculation conducted by utilizing SmartPLS 3.2. The finding of this study proved that self-efficacy is a strong determinant of players’ mobile game adoption. Besides, we found interesting results in which perceived ease of use and attitude toward use did not have a significant direct effect on players’ intention to play mobile games. Theoretically, this study provides an integrated conceptual model to explain the role of self-efficacy on mobile game adoption. Strategically, this study results could help mobile game marketers to build the best marketing strategy for their targeted players.

Tech-friendliness in this new era is an important quotient considered and the persons’ acceptance towards the technology frequency matters a lot. But still the frequency varies from person to person, this brought in the concept of Technology Acceptance Model given by Fred Davis in 1989. The theory of TAM is based on two theories that are Theory of Reasoned Action and Theory of Planned Behavior, TAM is extended version of these two. Green Banking is a new technology introduced by the banks that focuses on the growth of Sustainable development and Banking system too. Thus, banks ask their customers to use it or practice it in their daily life transactions. But every customer has their own point of view on the usage of Green banking. Thus, the research aims to understand the customers’ perception towards the Green Banking for this TAM is used. The research states that Perceived risk is the primary factor that is followed by perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use that impacts the decision to use green banking. Thus, the behavioral intention results in actual use of green banking usage for which people are trying to accept the new technology. So, the banks have earned points for creating awareness among their customers but still they have to work hard and clarify their customers’ problems and vanish that hitch that is stopping them to use green banking easily.
